Who's ready for a full summer of bike fun? This is the big ride that kicks off the festivities every year. Bring yourself and your bike to the kick off location where volunteers will be selling Pedalpalooza merch from 5-5:45PM. We'll depart at 6:00PM on a family-friendly cruise, lasting about 45 minutes. You are encouraged to dress yourself and your bike up. Immunocompromised community members, listen up! If you'd like to ride with other masked cyclists, meet on the north side of the pond where there will be someone drumming. Our volunteers will help you get to the front of the ride. We'll leave from the bathrooms heading west on the northern trail towards SE Ankeny St and taking Ankeny to SE 6th Ave. Then heading north to NE Couch St. back westward to connect to the Burnside Bridge. Once over the bridge, we'll take right turns to get onto SW Naito Parkway and take that to NW Overton St. We cross the tracks three times, so please be careful! Ride will pause at The Fields Park and then you have options: 1) Hang at The Fields Park with DJ Carlos who will then slow roll to Colonel Summers 2) Make your way to Beaverton by MAX or bicycle to meet up with the Westside Wednesday Ride. This is a fast, drop, ride. We have a strict timeline to make but want to provide individuals with an opportunity to cruise through Washtington Park up over the hill and down Sunset Path to Beaverton Transit Center to meet up with the Westside Wednesday Ride. This is the second part to our three part kick off. Can't quite make the ride over the hill? Take the MAX (no more than $5) to Beaverton Transit and ride BACK to the kickoff end spot and dance with Carlos, DJ Lo, and the rest of the ride. UPDaAte we’re following DJ Carlos…Join the Wednesday night dance party ride where the Pedalpalooza kick off ride ends before the other ride heads out to Beaverton. We will swing by numerous dance spots in Portland, to get our groove down and up celebrating the first day of Pedalpalooza. Some funky funk, Lizzo, classic dance tracks and there might be the odd Katie Perry song…coz baby you’re a firework. If there’s a upbeat track you really want to hear come speak to me (Moorland) and I’ll try to include it. Plenty of refreshment stops as we head to the final destination. Slow pace. We’re going into Portland to meet up with the kickoff ride. Lights and good spirits and helmets are encouraged. We will be taking a flat route back into Portland using Fanno Creek Trail and Portland Greenways.

Bike riding, frisbee throwing, vegan snacking, birthday celebrating. We’ll end at the Salmon St fountain by 7:30 for Thursday Night Ride. Anyone is welcome as long as they're nice. We'll try to go at a pace that works for everyone as long as we can make it to the fountain on time. I'll bring some vegan snacks to share. Feel free to do the same if you'd like. Come along on a bicycle parade commemorating Pride Month and World Bicycle Day brought to you by Downtown Portland and The Street Trust! This fun community event is hosted by celebrated Portland drag queen Poison Waters! Join us in Shemanski Park at 3:00 p.m. on World Bicycle Day, June 3rd. This family-friendly event is for everyone! We’ll enjoy a stately (i.e. slow) parade of two fabulous miles that will take us past spots from Portland’s rich 2SLGBTQIA+ history. We'll start (and get our glitter on) at Alberta Park, ride east, cruise down the hill by Rose City golf course, head back west, then glow up to Irving Park. Checkout possible future greenways routes that are proposed by the Lower SE Rising project . Start at the east end of the Tillikum Crossing bridge at 12:15pm, after the PSU Farmers' Market ride. The 12 mile loop goes down SE 17th , then crosses Sellwood to climb up through Woodstock. Eventually, it turns north to get to Mitchell, then connects via Steele back to the bridge. Exploring Portland is joyful and most satisfying when you choose the city's most preferred and intimate mode of transportation, pedaling. We will be covering unique nooks and neighborhoods, lush green parks, less trafficked bridges, delicious eatery and many more around downtown Portland while also having lot of fun. Back for its 12th year, Get Lost! is a Pedalpalooza Bike Ride led entirely by chance. Dice are rolled to determine how many blocks to ride, and which direction to turn once we get there (odd total = R, even =L). We ride until we find a natural end point. Calling all cargo bikers and cargo-curious folks! Join us for this "party-pace" cargo-bike oriented ride, chat with cargobikers and gawk at some load-hauling, car-killing stuff-carrying machines! We'll leave from Splendid Cycles and cruise up the Eastbank Esplanade to Skidmore Bluffs (aka Mock's Crest) stopping at New Seasons at Fremont and Williams to load up on snacks and bevvies if so desired. This is a 5 mile ride with less than 500 ft of climbing. While the route is suitable for beginners, it will feature a couple switchbacks and narrow pedestrian bridges designed to test your cargo bike handling skills. We'll hang at the bluffs, talk cargo rigs, get hyped for Disaster Relief Trials, imbibe your favorite brew or 'booch until an hour of your choosing. And remember: all bikes are cargo bikes with the right attitude ;)

Instead of Casual Fridays, it's Fancy Mondays! Don your best duds for a fun social ride on 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays. A different endpoint each time. Ever get stuck by a long freight train in the Central Eastside? Fear no more! There are multiple ways to get around it & get on your way — some more obvious than others. I've lived or worked near these tracks for over 10 years and have a collection of detours to share. Elevators and stairs can be handy, but this route will demo detours which don't rely on those. Not a loop, but the end location is only 1/2 mile from the start. Ends at Mt. Hood Brewing Co (the pub/pizza joint in the parked train car near the east end of Tilikum Crossing). The north starting every other Tuesday ride continues the tradition at starting Irving park. A different leader every week is a goal where the bike community gets the chance to see how easy it is to lead a bike ride. We’re in to the Fred Meyer junior parade as the “Bodacious Bikers!” It’s on Wednesday, June 8th and our group is open to anyone riding with a kid: in a cargo, long tail, child seat, tag along, trailer or, of course, with your child on their own bike. Please join us AND spread the word to any and everyone as it’d be awesome to have a big turnout in support of kids biking. Meeting location is a bit vague. The organizers said to gather your group in a spot between Tillamook and Sacramento on one of the streets 52nd through 56th. Just tell people to look for all the kids on bikes. I’ll be there at noon riding an Urban Arrow, so people can come find us starting at noon. The parade officially kicks off at 1, so tell folks to bring water/snacks, etc. b/c it's a fair amount of wait time. The ride hops on Sandy going west until Grant High area, then people head their merry way. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Ever wanted to do a Pedalpalooza ride without leaving the house? Now you can! The ride will be a chill (D level) loop through the Electric City on Makuri Islands. If people want to ride more I'm up for it :) There is a little work that will need to be done to make this work (due to limitations with the Zwift platform). On Zwift you will need to follow me, and I'll need to follow you back. I can then create a meetup on the day of the event and invite you. If someone is more knowledgeable and knows of a better way to do this please email me! Think “toys making noise.” Maybe you’ve always wanted to mix up a cacophonous musical Doppler effect while riding in a friendly group from park to park. If so, come join our (very) loosely defined bike band jam! Strap on your synthesizers, your noisemaking devices, your ring modulators and Gameboys...and your mini-xylophones, too. We’ll warm up at the start point to get our bleep and bloops on, then ride off in a musical parade of migratory soundbirds! Bring some nice snacks and/or drinks along for the ride ... and fresh batteries!

Know Your Greenways is a series of bike rides that combine two or more neighborhood greenways to form a loop ride about eight miles in length. This ride goes up N Concord and down N Greeley including N Hamlin, N Wabash, and N Willamette. Greenways make good loop rides as the neighborhood streets use traffic diversion and other measures to keep the number of cars driving on them low. There are also few stop signs and the crossings of busier streets are always signalized or have signed and striped crosswalks to stop cross traffic.

Come along and sing to well known songs. Submit your song requests to Moorland before the start or at any of the refreshment stops we will make. We will have a big sound system, disco lights..maybe even a fog machine. The ride will be slow paced and a loop. We usually have spare tubes/pump and basic tools just incase.

Let's ride up to the Zoo and then Bomb down and then get pizza! Same time and location (7:30 meet-up and 8pm roll from Beaverton Transit Center) but we will be climbing up to the zoo and then ending around Dante's/Pizza Slut for a slice of pizza at the end of the ride. We will lead you in a casual and no-drop tour of PDX along greenways in the different quadrants of our beautiful city and guide you through the in's and out's of Pedalpalooza. You'll have the chance to meet and talk with fellow riders, learn about Pedalpalooza's past, get tips for riding in Portland in the summer. Be prepared for some interactive portions at a park. Calling all people who love to draw! Bring your sketchbook and let's draw people (and dogs!) in parks. We'll meet up at the dog park in Irving Park to sketch some doggos, then head to two other Portland parks to draw what we see. We'll also make some collaborative jam comics along the way. An all-ages/all-abilities, conversational-pace, meditative ride from SE PDX to the PSU Farmers Market to help support local farmers, bakers and makers of all kinds while building community in a relaxed, informal setting. Rain or shine! A post-ride adventure that is only loosely planned beforehand occasionally follows. Riders are welcome to leave at any point during or after reaching the farmers market.

We are going to start from delta park go north across the I-5 then across Vancouver east on Burnt Bridge creek trail. South across 205 the back across marine drive. the route is about 30 miles long. we will have a store stop somewhere is the Couve. come join and have fun!

Grab your bike and your favourite disc (or borrow one of ours) for a day of disc golf and bike shenanigans. 18 holes (5 different locations) as we cruise around SE Portland with a portable disc golf basket. No disc golf experience necessary, we will be running a mixture of short range holes and hole-in-1 shots (depending on the size of the ride). Skate with us on the Springwater Corridor Trail from Cartlandia food carts to Powell Butte Market and back. Route is about 3 miles each way, flat terrain. Leisurely pace with a store stop at Powell Butte Market.

Swift Summit Northwest* and the hill killerz have created a fun little sufferfest for you to come ride OR come spectate and cheer on others. As practice for Swift Summit Hill Climb Time Trial or just for some type two fun, we found a challenging (paved) hill near Portland for you to ride up... and down...and up...and down... and, well, you get the idea. Your challenge is to try to ride up the chosen hill five times in a row. Or cheer on others! Earn a cool sticker and a discount to the Swift Summit. You can do your repeats anytime you like OR you can join a bunch of folks trying it together on Sunday, August 6th at 10am. If you'd like to do your repeats on your own, please email for directions. We'll meet at the Lents Flood Plain park, which is near SE Foster and SE 108th. We'll ride to the hill together, then ride up the hill together. I’ll hang out at the bottom to count your repeats and there’ll be some snacks and drinks for ya. Spectators welcome! Afterwards, we'll take the long way back to the Springwater bike path together, riding through a covered bridge on the way! That whole loop is 5 miles. If you do the repeats and the loop, it's closer to 10 miles. * The Swift Summit Northwest happens in (and around!) Lebanon, OR on August 25-27, and includes an uphill time trial on Friday, a 50, 100 or 200 mile race on Saturday and a social ride on Sunday.

Hey there! Seltzer Squad Riding League is a weekly meetup of bike nerds, teetotal randonneurs, and their friends. Moderately paced, with any given week ranging from 20-some miles to a hidden local pathway, or 50+ out pounding gravel in The Dalles. Established in 2017, we ride once a month to enjoy what this city has to offer. Each month is led by a different CORVIDAE member, and therefore will be unique. We occasionally have themes or additional donations to different organizations. Additionally, host pop-up rides during the summer. ​We try to focus our rides on greenways, group etiquette, safety measures and general comradery. In addition to bike safety and accessibility, we want to promote using bicycles as an alternative to fossil fueled travel within Portland. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring your repair kit with a spare tube so we can keep the ride rolling. Please bring your own provisions; we’ll be stopping near stores, but not at them. Each member has an eye out for the crowd, will cork, sweep and be a general pillar of support. Ride pace is casual at around 10 miles with a few park stops. Dungeons & Dragons & Derailleurs returns for a second year as an epic summer-long campaign. In this first installment (of three), someone or something is corrupting the Kingdom of Portland’s water supply, and brave adventurers are needed to make things right! D&D&D: Peril on the Willamette is a Dungeons and Dragons-inspired ride that will have you and your adventuring party biking to a few different locations around the river and playing a D&D-light choose-your-own-adventure game. We’ll have everything you need for the game, but bringing along notebooks and pencils or even a costume is definitely encouraged. Adventuring parties of 4 are ideal, but the game works for groups of other sizes. Or just show up at the starting location solo and invite strangers to join you on your quest!
