Ride shortened due to heat

Meet in front of the shops. If there are more than a dozen or so people, we might shift to the park across the street.

End location: Cartopia @ SE Hawthorne/12th
Update: We’re planning to cut out the Montavilla and Gateway stops (SPS, FF, and RMS) to reduce our time biking in the heat. Meet in front of the shops at SE Stark/12th Ave unless there are a lot of people, in which case we’ll shift to the park across the street. Sweetpea, Herbivore, and Cultured Kindness are the three vegan places to check out before we roll out at about 2:30. We’ll ride around the east side of Portland to visit several vegan businesses and end at a cart pod for dinner. Places we’ll visit: Vegan Mini Mall - Sweetpea (bakery), Herbivore (all sorts of vegan goods), & Cultured Kindness (cheese) Missionary Chocolates Secret Pizza Society (quick stop for drinks unless you’d like to order ahead and/or stay for food after the ride leaves) Food Fight (vegan grocery) + Rad Magic Subs Gateway Discovery Park (midway break) Cutiee Buys (vegan convenience store) + Coffee Beer (all sorts of drinks) Ramblin’ Rose (ice cream) If anyone is still hungry after that, we’ll end at Cartopia (SE 12/Hawthorne). Unfortunately, there are no fully-vegan carts here, but there are plenty of vegan options, including burritos, pad Thai, loaded fries, and falafel. There’s a beer cart as well. Bring: Plenty of water Money for food, etc. Mask (may be required at some shops)
