Ride is a loop
With Sunday heading into the 90's, thought adding a swim might be a good change of pace! As such, also starting this one off a little earlier (9AM as opposed to our usual 10) so we can beat some of the heat. (Meetup's Rocky Butte Espresso) This route is uncharacteristically logical (on account of there not being many crossings along 84) but the roads are well-trod for a reason! Nice swooping pavement and rolling hills all the way through, with the briefest of crappy-but-necessary riding *on* 84 to get to our destination, Rooster Rock (Portland-area's *other* clothing-optional beach). After however long of splishing and splashing we'll head back up and through to one of my personal favorites, Sugarpine Drive-in (which is sure to be slammed, but what're ya gonna do). Topped up, it's a quick hustle down Halsey back to Rocky Butte and the remainder of your Sunday.
