Meet at 10:30, pick up wristbands for tour, ride no earlier than 11 am
End location: We will pick up the tour a few stops in, and end up near, but not exactly at, our start point
Curious about Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) and Portland's new zoning ordinances that allow you to build additional dwellings on your lot? The ADU Tour may be for you. In its 7th year, the ADU tour is a great chance to visit small add-on units or tiny homes that our neighbors have built as rental properties or even primary residences. The owners, builders, and designers are often on hand to answer questions about the process and costs, too. There are 13 locations on this year's tour and it's a great opportunity to bike around and check out these new housing options. ***Please note, the ADU Tour is a separate event and you MUST BUY TICKETS if you wish to actually tour the ADUs. If you do not wish to buy tour tickets, you are welcome to join the bike group and chill outside while those of us with wristbands go inside!*** BUY ADU TOUR TICKETS HERE: https://accessorydwellings.org/adu_tour/ This will be a family-friendly jaunt, with multiple stops, and getting on & off of bikes (to see the ADUs). We will attempt to visit roughly 8 ADUs on the tour. (I am not a sponsor or paid by this event, I just really like ADUs, tiny houses, housing options, and biking!)
