This ride honors victims of vehicular violence, and those affected by it, and celebrates those lives nearly lost. Let's bring more attention to issues of unsafe roadways - especially for our most vulnerable road users: Black, Indigenous, People of Color, wheelchair users, pedestrians/people with disabilities, children and definitely cyclists! Feel free to ride however you feel most comfortable! By bicycle, tricycle, tall bike, short bike, skateboard, roller skates, bring your dog for heck's sake! This is as much a celebration of life and mobility as it is a memorial. FYI: We will cross some busy intersections in Sellwood-Westmoreland, while also taking the opportunity to pause, reflect, and enjoy our beautiful parks.
