Join organizer Michelle Poyourow and guest speakers Paul Knauls, Leonard Smith, Ed Washington and Toni Linne on this bike tour of N Portland's history. We'll discuss urban renewal, work in the Kaiser shipyards during WWII, displacement of black Portlanders from Lower Albina, the Vanport flood, and white flight and drug violence in the 80s. A slow paced ride, ending at 5:30 in inner N Portland. We have a lot to cover so we'll leave on time at 2:00 pm.
