Ride length: 3-8 miles
Celebrate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Dress as Turtles, Casey Jones, or the Foot. We'll ride to landmark locations. Meet at April O'Neil's thrift store at 5:30. At 6pm, we ride to Shredder and Krang's hideout... I'm hoping we'll spot them. By 7:30pm, we'll end at Secret Pizza Society, Portland's best pizza place! I don't have music, so feel free to bring yours. Ride details: My ride is good for new cyclists and families with kids. We go at a slow pace so folks can socialize, and everyone can keep up. We use small neighborhood streets with minimal cars. When we mix with cars, we stay together as a group. The end spot is 2.5 miles from the start. After pizza, if you need to return to the starting point but aren't comfortable riding back on your own, talk to the ride leader about options, or I can likely ride back with you. If you're the original tmnt ride leader, I'll yield to you. I'm doing this because I haven't seen it on the calendar for a few years.
