April 5 is Star Trek’s high holy First Contact Day, when extraterrestrials first greet earthlings. Celebrated by making new friends with intelligent beings wildly alien to you. Prophecy foretells that on this date in 2063, the first warp flight by Zefram Cochrane in Bozeman Montana leads to Vulcans finally introducing themselves, changing humanity forever. Seems like a good theme for a group ride on a Sunday afternoon with decent weather. Ride is a loop, in the shape of the Star Fleet symbol. Visits at least SEVEN Star Trek related sights over 15 miles. Bar stop halfway, possible projector movie at end. One hard hill, some sidewalks, possible stairs if the Wesley Crusher WunderCrossing's turbolift is offline.
