Do you want to play mermaids? This ride is for you, and any kid who ever wanted to play mermaids at the pool or by the water. This is a family friendly ride for all ages and riding abilities. We are all kids on bikes! The ride will feature music inspired by the ocean’s mysterious creatures from the depths or sitting just out on a rock… is that a mermaid or a seal lion? Join us Sunday July 27th at Oregon park for a waterworld-inspired, and merfolk led bike ride. All merfolk and aquatic life welcome! Costumes highly encouraged. Bring your swimsuits, floaters, fins, flippers, feathers, scales, tentacles 🦑 etc.. 🧜♂️ 🐋🐬🧜🧜🏼♀️🐠🐡 There will be a brief store stop before heading to our final stop where we have the option to swim or cool off. Meet at 10am Ride at 10:30am Ride is a loop! (Post-ride optional ride to: Solidarity with Immigrants ride at Colonel Summers 1:30pm) ----------- Outside the Lines is a weekly, themed, community-centered ride for folks who identify “outside the lines” — those who don't always feel like they belong. Bring your whole self, whether it's silly and social, quiet, or somewhere in between. We practice consent and follow the Shift2Bikes Code of Conduct. All wheels, all bodies, all together. We always! include a stop that has food/drink for purchase and clean safe restrooms, practice no-drop procedures to the best of our ability. We mostlys! ride on Sundays, have a speaker system, ride in loop, keep under 15 miles, go at 8-12 mph pace. ---- Presented by Ride Safe PDX.
