Ride is a loop
My family doesn't get to visit from the Midwest very often, so I'm hosting a Pedalpalooza ride so that they can get the full Bike Summer experience. Bring your kids and let's do a simple loop around the Waterfront from the Salmon Springs Fountain along Better Naito to the Steel Bridge, south onto the Eastbank Esplanade, and then back over the Hawthorne Bridge to our starting point. This will be a great ride for parents and kids who want to gain confidence in city riding without actually riding in the same place as cars, since we'll be in protected bike lanes or greenways the whole time.
