    Want to ride your bike and support a good cause? Join us Jan. 25 at 9 a.m. The Eleventh annual Race for Warmth to support Operation Warm Heart, a Clark Public Utilities customer-funded program that helps households in financial crisis pay energy bills is right around the corner. The event raises awareness for Operation Warm Heart and all registration proceeds go to support our neighbors in need. The timed 10k run and 5k walk/run start and finish at the Clark Public Utilities downtown location. The 16-mile bike ride takes off at 9 a.m. from Hudson’s Bay High School and follows an out-and-back route to Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park. Bike ride registration includes secure bike check services following the ride. A free race for children kicks-off the event at 8:30 a.m., registration encouraged, but not required. Registration is $40 and includes a long-sleeve performance shirt and race bag. Pre-registration is recommended and available online through midnight on Saturday, January 26 online. Same-day registration begins at 7 a.m. until 8:15 a.m. and costs $50, note that a shirt and race bag will not be guaranteed.
