Ride is a loop
Come on a daylight ride to see holiday decorations in the Alameda area. This will include the Chris Willis display of 400 molded Santa figurines that moves to a new Portland location every year. This ride takes place in daylight, as not everyone is comfortable riding after dark. The ride goes out as far as the Rose City Golf Course, where the Bar & Grill makes for a great mid-ride stop before looping back to Irving Park. The Bar & Grill makes fantastic fries, and we are providing them free to everyone on the ride. The route to the golf course is 4.5 miles, and total ride distance for the loop is 9.4 miles. This is a BikeLoud PDX affiliated ride so we'll go by some recently-installed bike infrastructure. This includes the improved crossing at NE 57th, the northern end of the 70s Greenway, and the crossing of the NE Hancock Greenway across Sandy Blvd. Hope to see you on the ride!
