Do you play, live, or work around Lloyd Center and love walking or rolling? Join The Street Trust for a walk audit of Lloyd Center! A walk audit is a fun and educational way to assess and report on the safety and walkability of streets and intersections and inspire needed change. We'll be using the AARP Walk Audit Tool Kit -- a robust tool you may have first seen unveiled at the 2023 Oregon Active Transportation Summit hosted by The Street Trust! We'll walk and roll one mile around Lloyd Center's exterior and collect data to inspire future change. Wear comfortable footwear and weather-suitable clothing. This route is designed to be walked and rolled; you can wheel your bike along or leave it securely parked inside our offices during the outside portion. The Lloyd Center Walk Audit is a precursor to the Week Without Driving, September 30-October 6, during which The Street Trust and partners will host a series of events to help people learn firsthand about the barriers and challenges that nondrivers face.
