garden stops in order! 1. Clinton Community Garden (stop) 2. Sewallcrest Community Garden (ride by/potential stop if gate is unlocked and gardeners are there) 3. Col Summers Community Garden (ride by/potential stop if gate is unlocked and gardeners are there) 4. Buckman Community Garden (stop - secret slide!) 5. Nostrana farm/garden (ride by) 6. Ladd's Rose Gardens (ride by and final stop) a gentle bike ride visiting gardens in se portland for queer/trans and bipoc folks, all paces welcome. accomplices also welcome :) sunday, august 4th ~ 10:30 to 12:30ish gather around 10:15 ~ ride is 1.5 to 2 hours ~ stops at Clinton and Buckman community gardens and Ladd's Rose gardens. Roughly 4.4 miles, mostly flat. Gardens - sadly most community gardens are not fully accessible. pathways between beds are narrow and typically made of mulch. there is a paved pathway through clinton community garden! ladd's rose gardens do not have paved pathways throughout them. Meeting point ~ Brooklyn Park by the bleachers, just across from the Biketown station! Nearby bus lines ~ 10 and 19. masks are not required while biking but are strongly encouraged when in close proximity to each other at garden visits. Please stay home if you are not feeling well!
