*** Updated route! Splash pad stops every 1.5 miles: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47454650 *** Bus 75: Hidden Portland is a photo/essay blog created by photographer Geoffrey Hiller and writer Tom Vandel: "We began riding the #75 bus to uncover the curious places, spaces, and people hidden along the bus line that stretches 20 miles from St. Johns to Milwaukie. Hiller’s photos and Vandel’s text depict the upside, underside, unknown side of Portland — oddball specialty stores, old-school barbershops, flea markets, typewriter repairmen, amateur wrestlers, subterranean music, and more." Bus 75 is showing at PLACE (NW 18th Ave & Johnson St) from June 20th through July 19th, Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm. There is a reception on this evening, July 8th, from 5:30pm–8:30pm. Come meet at Laurelhurst Park (at a #75 bus stop, naturally) and ride together to the exhibit. We plan to arrive at about 6:45–7:00pm. If you're running late and miss this ride, or would rather take the (air conditioned) bus, just meet us at the venue!
