Unwind with a post-work whip around the classic NoPo loop - approximately 15 miles through North Portland's greatest hits. You know the route: cruise the Crest along the Willamette Blvd, under the iconic St. John's Bridge, up the lonely stretch of Lombard, and sneak through the hushed industrial district after hours. Then, it's a car-free joyride along Kelley Point's extra-wide multi-use paths, past Smith & Bybee's serene wetlands, and the Columbia Slough trail by Heron Lakes and PIR. We even get a bonus mile of gravel (courtesy of the charmingly crumbling Slough trail path). This ride is for those who fancy a slightly spicier pace. E-bikes are welcome, too. We'll meet at the Dog Bowl bluffs just off of N. Willamette Blvd and roll *promptly* at 5:45 pm (for realz). Afterward, convene at Mayfly Taphouse (8350 N Fenwick Ave, right next to the Denver Ave MAX Station) for a well-deserved post-ride beverage and general schmoozing. If this sounds like your kind of fun, let's turn Wednesdays into our regular NoPo night out.
