    100 years ago was born one of the most fabulous minds of our lifetime, James Baldwin was a profoundly brave and compassionate human and writer. Readings, interpretations, and more. We have presenters from the worlds of publishing, queer performance, and black liberation joining us. A mobile sound system will play a sampling of Baldwin interviews as well as the jazz, funk and soul of the time. Concludes at a record store that is staying open just for us. I will give away a few Baldin books at that time. The ride will be 5 miles at a pretty easy pace, with frequent stops and a mobile misting fan. This, possibly first if it's kind, ride is scheduled on his birthday to celebrate his life.
