Join us for Portland Boring Portland, a brisk ride down to the Springwater, out to Boring, and back. In the sprit of the French namesake, food is a ride feature. We'll start at a French bakery, end at a coffee shop, and hit at least one food spot along the way. If pace is quicker than you want we'll stop and collect everyone along the way. All are welcome. If you're an ancien or ancienne (that's a PBP finisher), bring your jersey, rando bike, and stories. All bikes are welcome, but randonneuring is the style of the day. Paris Brest Paris is the oldest recurring organized bike ride in the world, having started in 1891 as an audacious 1200km physical challenge with cash prizes. Bicycles were high tech, and endurance events were the rage. PBP is now held as an amateur event every 4 years. 2023 is a PBP year! Bonne route!
