    We’re excited to continue the 8th annual Black Liberation Ride in 2023 - a community bike ride for Black + Brown Portlanders, hosted on Saturday, June 17th, in observance of Juneteenth - aka the celebration of the emancipation of the last remaining enslaved African - aka Black Independence Day! This ride is a moment to come together, take up space, and celebrate in solidarity by riding around Portland. This ride is centered around the Black / Brown community. This ride is kid-friendly, NO DROP, and open to all rider levels. Rider checklist: - Sunblock - Water bottle - Helmet (if you don’t have one, don’t worry) - Something comfortable to ride in - Any flags, shirts, whatever you want to rep the culture Meet at 10am, Ride at 10:30am The ride will start at Irving Park, and finish at Lillis Albina Park for the Juneteenth Oregon Celebration.
