    Update Heatwave Pop-Up

    Location Gateway Transit Center, Near NE Multnomah St/NE 99th Ave

    Meet at the entrance to the 205 bike path at the north end of the transit center (see photo)

    Time details Gather around 1:30-1:45 and roll out at 2

    End location End location: Broughton Beach

    We’ll meet up at Broughton Beach with Blueberry Muffins and co who are riding over from the Expo Center. Gateway Transit Center to Broughton Beach is just over 7 miles. We’ll go at an easy pace with short water stops as needed. This isn’t listed as a loop as there’s no set end time, but anyone is welcome to join on the return trip along the same route. Please bring everything you need for a day at the beach. There won’t be a store stop, but there’s a Fred Meyer near the start point as well as Food Fight, Winco, and other spots within about a mile. Suggestions of what to bring: -Plenty of water and other beverages -Snacks -Swim gear -Towel -Sun protection -Beach toys -Lights if you plan to stay late
