Calling all Pedaling Pagans! Celebrate Lughnasadh with us in style! This is a favorite Harvest Festival Day! It's about getting ready to do the hard work of the harvest of our efforts! What do you need to get to work on? Bring your visions and goals to us as we commit to maximizing the potential abundance available to us now at the height of summer. Lughnasdadh is also a festival where Feats of Strength are demonstrated! As such we will have an Open Mic Stage starting at 7pm! Come Dance! Sing! Share poetry! Strut your Stuff! Whatever your 'strength' we wanna see it! At 3pm the Pedaling Pagans of Cascadia will meet up at Overlook Park and depart at 3.30 to join the festivities At 4pm we will gather for a ritual of Thanks and Determination. Please feel welcome to bring something for the altars to represent a goal that you want energy and motivation to pursue and/or something to represent the abundance of the season. At 5.30 we will indulge in our feast and in our great fortune to be brought together. At 7pm we will kick off our Open Mic! Embrace your talents and skills by sharing them with us! This is a celebration about abundance and joy! We will be feasting to the theme of Stone Salad~ Please bring something to contribute to either a Fruit Salad or Veggie Salad. We will also be grilling veggies, so vegetable grillables are also welcome! Or bring any dish to share if you are able!! Also, please bring your own Feastware~ a cup, plate and utensils for yourselves! It's so classy!
