End location: Apex, SE 12th Ave & SE Division St
Let's ride across Portland's newest bridge, officially known as the Congressman Earl Blumenauer Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge. And let's dress up as Earl Blumenauer while doing it! It's easy, all you really need is a button-up shirt and blazer, or maybe a Hawaiian shirt. And of course a bow-tie and bike pin, but the ride leaders will have clip-on bowties and bike pins on hand for anyone who needs them. The ride will start at Irving Park (by the restrooms at the top of the hill), then we'll head down 7th Ave to the bridge, spend some time on the amazing new Blumenauer Bridge taking group photos, then ride down 7th Ave south to Division and then over to Apex at 12th & Division for post-ride beverages and hangout.
