Ride is a loop
Join PBOT's North Portland in Motion team on a biking tour of the upper-peninsula neighborhoods of St Johns and Cathedral Park. During this ride, you'll have a chance to learn about the ongoing North Portland in Motion plan - which kicked off in the summer of 2021 and is focused on improving access to important community destinations and supporting more walking and biking throughout the North Portland peninsula. This ride will focus on new project ideas specific to the 'upper-peninsula' neighborhoods of the project study area, including new Neighborhood Greenway routes, better connections to schools and parks, safer connections over the railroad cut, and opportunities for improvements on the area's busier streets. This ride will be a loop, beginning and ending at the St Johns Plaza on Lombard in Downtown St Johns. This is intended to be all-ages-friendly, "no-drop" ride, but will involve riding in mixed traffic for short periods of time in some sections.
