End location: Tigard Public Library
Starting at Garden Home Rec Center we will ride the entire length of the Fanno Creek Trail (9 miles ONE WAY) ending at the Tigard Library. An additional quarter mile on the Colony Creek Trail will be explored at the end for those who want to go "all the way." This is a one way ride. You can catch a bus back to start point from nearby Tigard Transit Center (Route 45) or ride back to start point on your own (additional 9 miles) Our 5 year old can ride this route one way. ( Strong rider) We will be riding in the street with sharrows for one segment. Multiple street crossings, one bridge over 217 using sidewalk. Downhill at the start, one uphill section but mostly flat paved trail. Easy pace. Bathroom/playground break at Dirksen nature park.
