ride at 6
SW Multnomah is an old railroad alignment which makes a flat and direct connection from Terwilliger to Oleson and the Fanno Creek Trail. This is a key southwest bikeway and a great opportunity for a protected bikeway to get westside commuters out of their cars. PBOT's upcoming intersection project at Multnomah & Garden Home Rd can move us toward that, but threatens to become an auto-centric roundabout. Join neighborhood advocates for a short tour of the terrain and a look at nearby projects and intersections to learn more about the area and its transportation issues. The ride will last 5 to 90 minutes, 1-5 miles with little to no climbing, depending on the cold and rain. We leave SW 45th and Multnomah at 6. We'll end at Old Market Pub (SW 69th and Multnomah), with much to discuss. More info on the upcoming PBOT+washco project here: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/transportation/76721
