21+ Only
10:10am roll time
Maria the Bicycle Kitty
Sun, Feb 8, 2026, 10:00 AM
We roll at 10:10am
Ride is a loop
Ride length: 15+ miles
Ladies (trans ladies this means you too!) on regular bicycles are welcome to join our monthly ride. This ride is "no dudes, no e-bikes, no offense". I welcome e-bikes on the many other rides I organize, but they are not a good fit for this ride. If that makes you mad, please feel free to join one of the many rides on the Shift calendar (some of which welcome only e-bikes!). We always meet at the northern end of the trolley trail at SE 17th Avenue & SE St Andrews Drive, across from the Goodwill Bins and very close to the Springwater Trail - about a half mile from the Orange Line MAX (Johnson Creek/Tacoma stop). Some riders have trouble finding this for the first time, so you might consider studying the map before you head there. We're usually a small group of 4-6-8 riders. Our pace will be approximately 12-14mph, slower if it's super wet or on hillz. It's important to me to stay in front to set the pace, so please stay behind (or next to!) me. If even one rider goes off the front, it's contagious and soon we're dropping folks, which is the opposite of what our chill squad is about. Let's ride together as a group please. Our rest stops will be at parks with bathrooms and water spigots. We will not be stopping at any stores or cafes or restaurants, so be sure to bring enough snacks for yourself. It's also helpful if you can carry a small repair kit and spare tube (even if you are riding tubeless or don't know how to fix a flat). We'll plan to do our "Hidden Falls" route: 30 miles, 1300' gain, all paved except path into Hidden Falls, https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48697900 However, we can all decide together at the start to do one of these instead if that's preferred: Ladies Lake O, 21 miles, 1800' gain, paved NEW! https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53640049 Eastside River Loop, 23 miles, 1020' gain, includes a mile hike-a-bike section https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53012294 Happy Valley Industrial, 25 miles, 1000' gain, all paved Best on Sundays https://ridewithgps.com/routes/52585762 Salish Ponds, 27 miles, 500' gain, all paved except for gravel path into Salish Park Great for rainy days https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51303515 East to Binford Trail, 22 miles, 600' gain, all paved except for 1/2 mile path Springwater Trail to a gorgeous trail in the woods https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51201436 Aldercrest Classic, 20 miles, 800' gain, all paved The route that started it all! https://ridewithgps.com/routes/49133783 West Riverside Loop, 23 miles, 1300' gain, less than 2 miles on wooded paths Not great for rainy days, starts with a climb https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44932165 Happy Valley Cutties, 17 miles, 600' gain, less than 2 miles on gravel paths Features some strange but fun nature cut throughs https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43720667 East to Boring, 35 miles, 700' gain, all paved Our longest ride, great for rainy days as we can easily cut it short https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42299988 Oregon City Viewpoints, 25 miles, 1200' gain, all paved Views and car-free Waterboard Park, not great for rainy days https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42176352

Sun, Feb 8, 2026, 10:30 AM
Meet at 10:30, we depart at 11 AM.
1:30 PM
Ride length: 8-15 miles
The premise, as it has been since 2005, is the same: An approximately 10 mile casual bicycle ride (not a loop) exploring the palm trees around town, with some other exotics and evergreens thrown in, like eucalyptus, madronas, yuccas, Oregon myrtles, and more. These trees and shrubs keep the city green through our grey and cool winter months, when all the deciduous trees have dropped their leaves. Seeing a bunch of them in the middle of winter brightens the mood, and reminds us that winter here may not be as bad as we feel. After the ride ends there will be an option for interested folks to get food and libations. Ride will happen in good weather or a bit of rain. Heavy rain or wintry conditions can postpone this event, I'll announce any changes within 24 hours of the start time, check back here for deets.

Peninsula Park Rose Fountain, 700 N Rosa Parks Way, Portland, OR 97217
Meet at the Fountain or Gazebo (weather-dependent)
Corvidae BC
Sun, Feb 8, 2026, 1:00 PM
Meet at 1PM. Roll out at 2PM
Established in 2017, we ride once a month to enjoy what this city has to offer. Each month is led by a different CORVIDAE member, and therefore will be unique. We occasionally have themes or additional donations to different organizations. Additionally, host pop-up rides during the summer and collect dry non perishables for food donations every month. We try to focus our rides on greenways, group etiquette, safety measures and general comradery. In addition to bike safety and accessibility, we want to promote using bicycles as an alternative to fossil fueled travel within Portland. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring your repair kit with a spare tube so we can keep the ride rolling. Please bring your own provisions; we’ll be stopping near stores, but not at them. Each member has an eye out for the crowd, will cork, sweep and be a general pillar of support. Ride pace is casual at around 10 miles with a few park stops. We aim to impress that this is a safe environment for all; no aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Please review our Corvidae Code of Conduct. Meet 2nd Sunday of every month Hang at 1 PM Wheels down at 2 PM sharp Bring your respect for each and the city. Leave no trace 🤘🏽

(Chorus) East Coast, West Coast, the rivalry is real, No need to RSVP, just hop on your wheels. From Biggie to Tupac, the legends we revere, Join the ride, let's make it clear. (Bridge) No matter where you from, let's find common ground, In the spirit of hip hop, unity is found. No need for drama, just good vibes we bring, East Coast and West Coast, together we sing. Actually we leave at 7:30 now…it’s too cold to hang around
Ride is a loop
Welcome to Mellow Mondays 2026. Are you interested in leading a ride? This is a supportive and organized way to lead for the first time. Every week there’s different themes but there are constants…. Slow pace, about 8 mph, Distance varies but approx 10 miles, Family friendly, We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides, Store stop for safe clean bathroom access but generally we try and make these stops short, Skater friendly (but please check with ride leader about crunchy or potential issues for skates), ALL Wheels friendly (scooter, skates, skateboard, e bikes etc), Ride is always a loop, Corking and traffic intersections are calm. Be mindful of smoking around others and do not smoke around children. FAQ, Can I bring a speaker? Yes but please speak to the ride leader and play the music they’ve carefully selected or what their preference is. Can I lead a ride? Yes, please attend a few first and get a feel for how the rides are. I’ve heard NakedHearts supports other rides? Yes, we can help with planning, encouragement, promotion, sound support and what not. What do you mean you practice consent? We ask everyone (even friends, relatives, husbands and wives with each other) to ask for permission before touching anyone else or their belongings and when asking to seek listen and empower ‘No’. What do you mean you practice Non-violence? We specifically expect everyone to be calm, kind and respectful with all car interactions. One riders aggression to a car driver can put everyone else at risk. We live in a small city and are bound to encounter the same drivers again. Are all your rides a protest? Yes, being together with respect and acceptance and finding comfort and joy around others and strangers is an act of protest against the divisive paradigm we are in.

Thu, Feb 12, 2026, 7:00 PM
Meet at 7:00, announcements around 7:30. 🕢 After 7:30, follow us to the next stop.
End location: Not a loop, but usually with a fire.
Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, riding every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic party-paced “rolling dive bar” of a ride for newcomers and regulars alike. Most rides will feature park and store stops, but come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. New leadership, same positive vibes. While you might expect some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct, and if you’re banned from any Shift rides, TNR isn’t for you. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. Riders should practice consent, accountability, respect, and de-escalation at all times. Stay behind the ride leader and don’t forget to thank a corker! 📍 Salmon Street Springs, every Thursday, rain or shine. 🕖 Meet at 7:00, announcements by 7:30, leave after “Beer Minutes.” 🕢 If you’re not at the fountain by 7:30, you may want to meet us at the next stop. 🧭 Live Location: https://ridewithgps.com/users/1303039/live_log 🗺️ TNR #463 route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53795418 ✨Be an Empowered Bystander✨ See something off? Step up in a way that feels right for you: 🗣️ Direct: If it’s safe, say *That's Not Right* for TNR. 🎭 Distract: Change the vibe and give them an out 🙋🏽 Delegate: Get help from a ride leader or trusted friend ⏳ Delay: Check in with the person afterwards 📝 Document: Write down what happened
⛲️ If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to get involved, come early and ask for the ride leader—we’ll see you at the fountain!
