Find your bike Every Friday Night. We meet at Ladds circle, in the circle. If it is raining, head down to the covered area of Abernethy Elementary School. Ride slowly meets at 7 pm and departs roughly at 7:45/8ish pm. An honorary 3 minutes of Ladd laps (Ding Ding Ride/Ladd500) and then we send it. Sometimes we have guest ride leaders. Friday Night Rides are different every time. Sometimes we go to other rides happening around town during the summer. End of ride fires/good vibes/respect/no jerks/ We are a community. Respect each other! No aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Violations against the code of conduct will be reported to shift2bikes. If you ride Sur-Ron/powerful electric bikes this is not the ride for you. You can come but you might be heckled. This is a bicycle ride. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Be careful of slippery roads/leafs on ground/pot holes. Call out road hazards to help bike friends stay safe. 1st Friday is bottle share night. (bottle of wine/crazy beer/kombucha/coconut water/fizzy waters/anything you like to drink/want to share) 2nd Fridays are MMR - later night vibes to make it to Midnight Mystery Ride. Community led ride - many folks now know the route and different folks can point the way each week! There are three meeting points: 1. SE Clinton St/41st Ave at 10 am (ride at 10:05) 2. SE Clinton St/26 Ave at 10:10 am (ride at 10:15) 3. Tilikum Bridge at (former) PDX Opera ~10:25 am; leaving from Tilikum location ~10:30 am 4. Arrive at PSU Market ~11 am Ride is on every Saturday the market is open (year round except weekend between Christmas and New Year). We will make every effort to note weather-related closures here promptly.

*** Hi Visibility Clothing encouraged and rewarded *** Spend a day (or a few hours) riding between a few of Portland's finest craft breweries with your newest, beercycleyest friends! HiVis clothing is highly encouraged (I witnessed a car-on-pedestrian incident today and do NOT want to see anything similar any time soon). You are welcome to bring minors, but I confess that I have not vetted the stops for how welcome kids will be, so you may want to keep in communication with me about what our itinerary is so you can check ahead and not be surprised. Unfortunately, kids aren't welcome at our first brewery stop :( (Thanks for being a buzzkill, OLCC.) From Piccolo Park, we will ride to Gigantic SE 26th/Steele, hoping to arrive shortly after 11. We will hit Ground Breaker to get smart on producing gluten free beer, and then be at Baerlic (SE 11th/Sherman) for folks to meet up with us at 2:00. Potential subsequent stops include Living Häus, Grand Fir, and Deschuttes. The final brewery will be Lazy Days N Flint/Russell, which we will leave at 5 pm for the after party at a yet-to-be-disclosed location. The first round is on me if you're wearing HiVis :) It looks like rain, so the only long legs will be to and from Gigantic at the beginning of the day. Drop in or out as you like. There may or may not be food available at the various stops, so please be prepared. I carry no tools, so unless one of the traveling mechanics decides to offer their services, you'll be on your own for any problems you might have with your bike. You will need to be at Lazy Days at 5 pm to find out about the final destination for post-ride libations, where your HiVis clothing will be rewarded :) I'll have an Ultimate Ears speaker as my sound system: feel free to bring anything compatible and/or one-up my tunes.

Join us for Bike Milwaukie's February ride to learn how to shop by bike. We will start the ride at Great American Video and Espresso for coffee. Before visiting several Milwaukie stores to support local businesses and share tips on how to successfully shop by bike, whether it's for a small errand or a full shopping trip. Please bring panniers, backpacks, or other means to transport items. Along with a good bike lock and money to purchase items. Think about a couple small items you'd like to purchase and transport home. We will end the ride in downtown Milwaukie for lunch and conversation. Dress accordingly for weather. All are welcome. SIX SEVEN I wanted to make a route with a bunch of 67 references, and we're all gonna see a bunch of sixes, and a bunch of sevens. You may be thinking, why not do this on June 7th? Ultimately, this is going to serve as a sort of "beta test" to see how viable doing a bigger 67 ride on June 7th will be Notable 6️⃣7️⃣age -6th and 7th avenues in central Beaverton -TVFR station 67 -The Merlo bus loop where line 67 ends -And NE 67th avenue in Orenco

Welcome to Mellow Mondays 2026. Are you interested in leading a ride? This is a supportive and organized way to lead for the first time. Every week there’s different themes but there are constants…. Slow pace, about 8 mph, Distance varies but approx 10 miles, Family friendly, We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides, Store stop for safe clean bathroom access but generally we try and make these stops short, Skater friendly (but please check with ride leader about crunchy or potential issues for skates), ALL Wheels friendly (scooter, skates, skateboard, e bikes etc), Ride is always a loop, Corking and traffic intersections are calm. Be mindful of smoking around others and do not smoke around children. FAQ, Can I bring a speaker? Yes but please speak to the ride leader and play the music they’ve carefully selected or what their preference is. Can I lead a ride? Yes, please attend a few first and get a feel for how the rides are. I’ve heard NakedHearts supports other rides? Yes, we can help with planning, encouragement, promotion, sound support and what not. What do you mean you practice consent? We ask everyone (even friends, relatives, husbands and wives with each other) to ask for permission before touching anyone else or their belongings and when asking to seek listen and empower ‘No’. What do you mean you practice Non-violence? We specifically expect everyone to be calm, kind and respectful with all car interactions. One riders aggression to a car driver can put everyone else at risk. We live in a small city and are bound to encounter the same drivers again. Are all your rides a protest? Yes, being together with respect and acceptance and finding comfort and joy around others and strangers is an act of protest against the divisive paradigm we are in.

Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, riding every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic party-paced “rolling dive bar” of a ride for newcomers and regulars alike. Most rides will feature park and store stops, but come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. New leadership, same positive vibes. While you might expect some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct, and if you’re banned from any Shift rides, TNR isn’t for you. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. Riders should practice consent, accountability, respect, and de-escalation at all times. Let's take food to some free fridges and pantries around inner-SE on our bikes! Cargo bikes and bike trailers especially welcome!! This ride will happen RAIN or SHINE! (may need to cancel if roads are icy or snowy) This is a no-drop inclusive ride, so if you struggle going up some hills carrying lots of food we'll wait for you! Meet us at Abernethy Elementary School, under the covered area. We will visit a variety of free fridges and pantries, so feel free to bring packaged nonperishable staples, as well as prepared meals (with ingredients and dates labeled,) or even fresh veggies!
