We will be riding to the pickles stadium and watching the game together! We did this last year on bike night and unfortunately they aren’t running that one. But that’s okay because we get to watch science experiments on the field instead! We are leaving the circle at 6 and will be leaving on time so were able to get to the game! Please buy a ticket in section 203 to sit with the group if you'd like; you are welcome to join the ride and not come to the game but you will need to purchase a ticket to come inside :) We will ride back to the circle after the game but the Ride With GPS route is linked so you can use that to help navigate home as well. My seats are E16 and E17! Banned riders are banned here and we expect you to follow the shift code of conduct. Please ride safely and responsibly and practice safe interactions around cars.

Meet for potluck at 6pm, Ride at 6:45pm
8:00 PM
End location: Jerry's Tavern, a Midwest inspired bar
Ride length: 3-8 miles
Join us for the almost 4th annual Midwesterners Ride (I missed hosting last year). Calling all Midwest transplants to Portland. You count even if you lived in Chicago for only 3 months when you were 21, or if you were born in South Dakota but moved before you could walk. Heck, youbetcha count if you're just Midwest curious! Like last time, bring your best potluck contribution (hot dish, beer brats, scotcheroos, New Glarus, Cincinnatti chili, etc) and wear something that shows your Midwest pride. We'll eat, ride (follow the cheeshead!) and stop midway for some short card games. Bring a deck and show off your best euchre, gin rummy, or whatever card game your aunt and uncle played while drinking old fashioned’s. We'll end at the Midwest inspired Jerry’s Tavern (optional) for ongoing hanging. We might argue about the exact boundaries of the Midwest, whether it is "soda" or "pop," and which state is best (obviously Wisconsin) but what we agree on: It's not the heat, it's the humidity. I heard some people made best friends on this ride in past years and I hope it happens again! I better not keep ya. See ya soon, ope!

Meet at 7:00, announcements around 7:30. 🕢 After 7:30, follow us to the next stop.
End location: Not a loop, but usually with a fire.
Ride length: 8-15 miles
Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, rolling out from Salmon Street Springs every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic, party-paced social ride with warmth and weirdness from our welcoming “rolling dive bar” regulars. Most rides feature regularly spaced park and store stops, generally leading to a lively end spot around 11 PM. Come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. Strong Thursday traditions, stronger shared expectations. While you might see some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct. If you’ve been asked not to attend *any* Shift rides, you are not welcome at TNR—that’s not up for debate on our ride. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. TNR works best when everyone helps set the tone and shares responsibility. Look out for each other, welcome new riders and help them find the next stop, leave it better than you found it, give people space when they need it, and help keep the ride moving forward together by practicing Consent, Accountability, Respect, and De-escalation at all times. Stay behind the ride leader and don’t forget to thank a corker! 📍 Salmon Street Springs, every Thursday, rain or shine. 🕖 Meet at 7:00, announcements after 7:30, leave after “Beer Minutes.” 🕢 If you’re not at the fountain by 7:30, you may want to meet us at the next stop. 🧭 Ride Tracker: https://thursdaynightride.com/tracker https://ridewithgps.com/users/1303039/live_log
⛲️ If you have any questions, concerns, or just want to get involved, come early and ask for the ride leader—we’ll see you at the fountain!

Ride is a loop
End location: 7701 N Chautauqua Blvd, Portland, OR 97217
Ride length: 8-15 miles
Thursday nights. Hard start at 8:05 PM. It's almost the weekend, so let's ride bikes. We roll from and return to Columbia Park (meet in front of the pool) for an hour-ish ramble through North Portland and beyond. No agenda beyond riding bikes with good people on a summer evening. Expect roughly 10 miles at a conversation-friendly pace (~10 mph). We usually have a brief rest stop along the way for snacks, stretching, high fives, admiring a weird tree, taking in a panoramic view, or whatever else seems important at the time. This is a no-drop ride. Basket bikes, ATBs, all-road bikes, cruisers, "gravel" bikes, fancy bikes, old bikes, rusty bikes, whatever. If your bike can comfortably cruise at ~10 mph for an hour, it’ll be fine. Bring: -Front and rear lights (required) -Snacks if you'd like -water or optional beverage, maximum vibes (no store stop). Meet: 7:45 PM . Roll: 8:05 PM sharp . Start & Finish: Columbia Park, in front of the pool. Come meet your neighbors and see what North Portland looks like after dark. Happy Hour last Thur of each month: 7/30 (6pm at Chill & Fill), 8/27 (TBD), 9/24 (TBD), 10/29 (TBD). Check back for happy hour location(s).

Colors of the world - spice up your bike! Slam it to the left if you’re having a good time, and shake it to the beat of the Spice Girls with a fabulous group of cyclists. Zig-a-zig aaaaall over Portland to your favorite 90's bops. Dress it up or dress down to boogie, because if u can’t dance to this you can do nothing for me baby. PLEASE BRING WATER / BEVERAGES! It may be a warm one, so come prepared with hydration. Bring a bandana to soak with water for your neck. No store stops - just a bathroom break; so be sure to bring all the water, sunscreen, and snacks you’ll want. ROUTE MAP on RIDE WITH GPS (Link Below!): - Ends at the Back Door Theater for a screening the Spice World Movie! (Behind Common Grounds Coffee.) HUGE thanks to FUSE Theatre Ensemble for donating the space. Ramblin' Rose Ice Cream will be there selling some Vegan GF drumsticks while supplies last. ** This is not a sober ride, but we ask folks to imbibe responsibly for the safety of everyone. ** We aim to create a supportive and safer space for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folks. Sketchy folks, phobic remarks, or unsupportive behavior of any sort will not be tolerated. Please do not take pictures, film, or touch others without their consent. Remember - consent must be verbal and "no" is a complete answer. BANNED RIDERS: If you are banned from any rides, you are also banned from this ride. Smart glasses (Meta/Google/Whatever) are not allowed on this ride. DJ bikes and BIG speakers encouraged! Playlist linked below via Tidal. Not a fan of Spotify, but the service does offer a convenient way to link our speakers in a "Jam." I'll be utilizing this feature to link speakers if folks would like to. Not syncing with the Jam? All I ask is that you limit the music to the Spice Girls only, and that you turn down your music when it conflicts with a louder speaker (you can turn it back up when it doesn't.) Corking is Community Care: We encourage folks who like to cork to join this ride and help make it a success. We also strongly encourage people who are cork-curious to join in and try it out. We keep us safe, and we never escalate aggressive drivers - keep it kind.

Meet 7ish. Ride 8 ish.
Friday night ride is a social ride for people who enjoy a sporty pace and adventurous routes. Every ride is different but generally range between 15 and 25 miles and you can expect some climbing and higher speeds than your average pedalpalooza ride. NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE. Riders should be self sufficient and have a plan for getting themselves home. This is a bicycle-forward group ride. Pedal-assist ebikes are ok (class 1 & 2). Throttle heavy, high speed battery powered motor bikes are not (class 3 & 4). If you're not pedaling it’s not a bicycle and you will asked to leave. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Be careful of slippery roads/leafs on ground/pot holes. Call out road hazards to help bike friends stay safe. 2nd Fridays are MMR - later night vibes to make it to Midnight Mystery Ride. If you want to lead a ride just ask! REPEAT… NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Guest ride leaders wanted and appreciated! Instagram @fridaynightride

Punctual roll time 10 AM
Ride length: 15+ miles
Let's ride bikes and go swimming! Please take a minute to read the below to ensure maximum fun. Please let me lead from the front, always riding behind or beside me so I may set our pace. We'll be riding around 8-10mph, slower when climbing, with several regroup stops. If you are a strong, fast rider - congratulations! Are you skilled and experienced enough to ride slower than you are used to? If not, please skip this ride. We’ll roll out at 10:30am and ride 5 miles (and up a nice sized hill!) to a public outdoor pool (BRING $6 CASH FOR ENTRY). Summertime at a public outdoor pool means it will be crowded and there will be a line. After enjoying the pool for about an hour, we'll ride 5 miles (much of it downhill!) to a public beach on the Willamette River. We’ll splash around for a while, then ride another 5 miles to a secret swim hole. Don't ask me where the secret swim hole is, just come and you will see! To get back to where we started, you can take the Trolley Trail and Springwater, about 10 miles or hop the Orange Line MAX. You will need: * $6 cash for pool entry (paying with cash is quicker) * towel * swimsuit * sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat * bike lock * snacks/drinks for the day * a positive attitude We will not be stopping at any stores. There is a snack bar at the public pool where we swim first and there's a public restroom and water fountain at the public beach. Last 9 riders swimming get a spoke card. If you are riding an e-bike, please be aware this ride is longer than many Pedalpalooza rides and your battery may not last all day. Rules (which you agree to follow just by showing up!): 1) no complaining 2) stay behind the ride leader 3) don't sue me

Sat, Aug 1, 2026, 9:30 AM
We leave at 10. Get there on the early side if you want food.
2:30 PM
End location: Montavilla
Ride length: 15+ miles
Portland is a city of libraries! There are currently 14 active branches of the Multnomah County Library within city limits (plus Central). But there have been many more branches that have come and go. Some of these branches moved to their current location, some simply closed, now forgotten. Many old library buildings still remain. You may pass by these old branches every day without noticing! This 20 mile ride will pass by about a dozen former branch buildings. This ride will concentrate on SE with a start in NE. This is a casually paced ride with many stops, no one left behind. Ride not a loop, will end somewhere in Montavilla, nearish the MAX. We'll have a good break mid-way through the ride for refreshments, and we can also get food and libations afterwards.

Gather at 9:45, roll out around 10:15, and be at Gaston by Noon

End location: Gaston Rural Fire Station (the out), Hillsboro Civic Centre (the back)
Ride length: 15+ miles
Have you never heard an Outdoor Warning/Tornado/Air Raid Siren in your life? Or maybe you used to live in the Midwest and miss the electromechanical harmony they produce! Well this ride will take us to Gaston, located in beautiful rural Washington County, about a 13 mile ride, with not too much climbing from downtown Hillsboro. They happen to have an electromechanical siren (one that actually has moving parts, not a giant speaker) that they restored a couple years back, and they test it every first Saturday at noon! It is a Federal Signal 3T22, one of the most iconic American sirens ever made. This ride is an OUT AND BACK format, meaning we will be starting at Hillsboro Civic Centre, heading to Gaston, and then heading back to HCC via the same way, which is about 26 miles round trip. We will try our best not to drop on this ride, however we cannot delay too much, as the siren sounds sharply at noon, and there is only finite buffer time. Also, there is NO RELIABLE BUS OR MAX SERVICE AFTER LEAVING HILLSBORO. This means that if you are riding an EBike, to make sure you have enough range, and for anyone that your bike is in good condition, and that you have enough water and snacks, so that you do not need to be "rescued" home. We will make some stops along the way to carb up, hydrate, and enjoy the view! I do not recommend children, as the overall length is quite long, however if you would like to bring children in the Westside, consider looking at my Kidical Mass rides.

The entire route will be 90 miles to and from Vera Katz Statue on the eastside esplanade with a total elevation of around 5,500+ feet. There will be a store stop at the Corbett Country Store, hot foods and drinks, and maybe one of the way back depending on how folks are feeling. We will start and end the ride at the Vera Katz Statue on the eastside esplanade. Please bring tools to fix a flat or any other sort of mechanical that may happen while we are out. The most Punk ride in the known universe. First: Do you need to like Opera? Not at all. If you’re open to music transforming the way a ride feels and how our city looks you’re in for a treat. What can you expect? Well, Opera. A carefully curated playlist. Moments of high drama and thrilling exaltation. Periods of such serenity as voices and music cascade around the city canyons consuming us in beauty and infrequently heard tones. The first time we held this ride (Amy ‘joy’ and Moorland) had no idea how profound a beautiful experience it would be or the depth of that beauty. Also, the playlist is interspersed with dialogue from the movie Casablanca just to give an underlying tonal theme. Route: We’re going to be rolling through city canyons so the acoustics reverberate. There will be a store stop for refreshments and while there the music will change to Rock Operas. The pace will be social and slow. Rebellion and punk shows in many forms, ask around about this insane ride and the previous years mischief! We troll hard!!! CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!!! Safety: As with all our rides, we practice consent and we practice non violence. You’re invited to come as you are and be who you are. Banned riders elsewhere are also banned here.

A symphony is an extended musical composition in Western classical music, most often for orchestra. Although the term has had many meanings from its origins in the ancient Greek era, by the late 18th century the word had taken on the meaning common today: a work typically consisting of multiple distinct sections or movements, often three or four, with the first movement in sonata form. Symphonies are almost always scored for an orchestra consisting of a string section (violin, viola, cello, and double bass), brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments which altogether number about 30 to 100 musicians. Symphonies are notated in a musical score, which contains all the instrument parts. Orchestral musicians play from parts which contain just the notated music for their own instrument. Some symphonies also contain vocal parts.

Meetup 8:45ish. Announcements 9:00. Rollout 9:05
End location: Bull Mountain Park
Ride length: 15+ miles
You are invited to La Flèche PDX. Like its namesake La Flèche Wallone, it will dish out relentless, steep climbs. As you have come to expect with all the PDX Classics, this parcourse will provide a voyage of discovery, pleasure, and pain over 95% paved steeps with a little dirt thrown in to make connections and keep you on your toes. A light road bike with 28mm slicks and some underbiking skills is the optimum steed. Feel free to size up your rubber if you're okay with the weight penalty and prefer the confidence on the few dirty sections. This time we play in an area where many folks haven’t explored – ravaging multiple steeps of Bull Mountain and Cooper Mountain, plus visits to the lesser East Butte, Sexton Mountain, and Mount Williams. We’ll seek and destroy most of the hard climbs in Tigard and South Beaverton. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33028481 We begin the day in downtown Tigard's Rotary Plaza behind Symposium Coffee. If you’re suburbaphobic, don’t worry. It’s an easy 10 mile ride to the start from downtown Portland - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34277087 There is also ample parking if you choose to drive to the start. Like the Mur de Huy at the end of La Flèche Wallone, this course saves one of the most brutal punches to your legs until the very end. Don’t let the cutesy name of Morningstar Drive fool you. It should be named Deathstar Drive. But fear not - after recovering and celebrating with the water fountain and shade of Bull Mountain Park at the end, you can practically coast the whole way back to the start on this boring return route - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/34294850 (more interesting options exist). There will be an Aid Station and Celebration Station thanks to Skratch Labs, Nossa Familia Coffee, Hopworks Brewing. To raise funds for our charities, Gifted Wishes, and Community Cycling Center, we are raffling cool, original art (attached) by local artist Phoebe featuring phenom Paul Seixas, winner of this year's Flèche Wallone. Raffle tickets for sale and start, aid station, and finish. Need not be present to win. $10 for 1. $40 for each 5 tickets. The course will NOT be painted. You must know how to navigate with your phone or GPS head unit. Event is free and unsanctioned. Ride at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety. Course is entirely on public streets and paths. Be polite and yield to pedestrian on any shared surfaces. Obey all laws. Riders must figure out their own fastest or most creative way through the city to hit as many checkpoints possible in the allotted time. At each checkpoint, racers might have to get a stamp/sticker, take a photo, or do a small task to prove they were there. Winner in each category will be decided by whoever has the most points. Tie breaker = fastest time. what do I need to bring?? all racer must bring a LOCK, your PHONE for photos, a PEN, and it is highly recommended that you wear a helmet!! what are the race categories?? WFTNB: women, trans, femme, non-binary Open: open to all is there an entry fee?? Not this time! What kind of bike do I need?? All geared bikes and freak bikes welcome. Sorry, no E bikes, you’re welcome to race, but if it isn't human powered you can’t get podium. Can I be apart of a team?? You and ride and navigate with others, however podium and prizes will be awarded based on individual scores/finish times. is okay if I’ve never done an alleycat before??? Of course! we all got to start somewhere! In fact, I am also nervous - this is my first time organizing an alleycat, so lets be excited and nervous together?? can't make the start, but want to come support the event and racers? meet me in Oregon Park 3/4 ish! Big thank you to Golden Pliers, Portland Design Works, A & B, and my friends / cycling community for supporting the event I LOVE YOU ALL ♡︎

This year we're excited to announce an extra bonus: Everyone 14 or under who joins us gets a raffle ticket to win a FREE WOOM BIKE, and other prizes. The winner will have their choice of a Woom Go (for kids 1.5 to 8 years old) or a Woom Explore (for kids 6 to 14). Each time a child joins us, even if they're riding with an adult, they'll get a raffle ticket. The more times you ride, the more chances to win. The Bike Bus is being coordinated with the Sellwood Community House for their summer camps, but you don't need to go to the camp to join us and get a raffle ticket. Every Monday morning the Bike Bus will leave from in front of Llewellyn Elementary School, ride a loop on bike-friendly roads and greenways, and end at Sellwood Park where Sellwood Community House has activities planned all day. The rides will be family-friendly, with music, and an adult ride leader and caboose rider. Helmets are required for anyone under 16 years old. Kids riding on their own bike should be at least 8 years old and able to ride for a couple miles. Younger kids may join with parental support. Parents are encouraged and welcome to attend. All bikes should be in good condition. The pace will be fairly slow, and nobody will be dropped. The Bike Bus will only go to Sellwood Community House and Sellwood Park; riders will return on their own. Below is the Bike Bus schedule. Revolutionary Bicycle Club
Mon, Aug 3, 2026, 5:00 PM
Meet at 5, roll at 5:15, catch us at Hawthorne Safeway if you miss roll time
Ride length: 3-8 miles
Climate chaos is here, and heat kills! Let's take a slow ride around SE to deliver cold drinks and care to anyone we encounter who needs a cooldown. We know that people living or working outside are particularly vulnerable to heatstroke, and wildlife and outdoor pets can suffer too. We'll only ride if the temps are in the mid nineties or above. We'll repeat this ride on other days as needed, so check the calendar on any hot day to see if it's happening. This will be a casual ride with no planned route and may split into groups if a lot of people show up. We may end the ride by stopping somewhere for a cold treat or drink, plunging in a river, merging with another ride, or just heading home. You decide! WHAT YOU CAN BRING: cold or frozen bottled drinks, water, snacks (salty snacks provide electrolytes), cooling packs, lightweight towels/bandanas (for soaking in water), handheld fans, first aid supplies/gloves, and clean reusable water bottles. We'll swing by Safeway as the start of the ride to pick up any extra supplies we need, so don't sweat it if you don't have time to grab supplies before coming to the ride. SOME THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT HEATSTROKE: 🥵🥵🥵 Public health officials usually report a spike in heat-related deaths and illnesses whenever temps go into the mid nineties and above. Heatstroke is a medical emergency and should always be taken seriously. Signs of heatstroke include inability to speak/slurred speech, disorientation, extreme lethargy, and fainting. In animals, fast panting and/or abnormally sluggish behavior (for example, a wild animal that does not run away when you approach) may indicate heat illness. 🆘🧍🏾♀️For humans, when heatstroke is identified you should call 911 first and then move the person out of the sun, remove excess layers of clothing, and start cooling them by dousing in water, fanning, and applying cold packs. On a hot day, do NOT assume that someone who is lying down outside is just sleeping or drunk– check to make sure that they are okay! Do not offer drinks to anyone who is having trouble talking, as liquid may be a choking hazard. 🐿️🐦⬛For furred/feathers animals, you can also wet and fan them but do *not* use ice water as this can cause constriction of blood vessels and further trap heat. Handle wildlife as little as possible while relocating to a cooler place, then seek help from a certified wildlife rescuer. 🌳🌲Don't forget about trees! Newly planted trees particularly suffer during heat waves, and trees planted at new developments, schools, and commercial complexes may not have someone checking in on them. The best way to water a tree is with a very slow drip system: add a pinprick hole to the cap of a gallon jug, fill up with water, then bury the top of the jug in soil (ideally directly beneath the far edge of the tree's canopy, where rain would naturally fall) to slowly drain. Young trees may need 20 gallons per week. Happy climate change summer! 🌞

Ride is a loop
Welcome to Mellow Mondays 2026. Are you interested in leading a ride? This is a supportive and organized way to lead for the first time. Every week there’s different themes but there are constants…. Slow pace, about 8 mph, Distance varies but approx 10 miles, Family friendly, We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides, Store stop for safe clean bathroom access but generally we try and make these stops short, Skater friendly (but please check with ride leader about crunchy or potential issues for skates), ALL Wheels friendly (scooter, skates, skateboard, e bikes etc), Ride is always a loop, Corking and traffic intersections are calm. Be mindful of smoking around others and do not smoke around children. FAQ, Can I bring a speaker? Yes but please speak to the ride leader and play the music they’ve carefully selected or what their preference is. Can I lead a ride? Yes, please attend a few first and get a feel for how the rides are. I’ve heard NakedHearts supports other rides? Yes, we can help with planning, encouragement, promotion, sound support and what not. What do you mean you practice consent? We ask everyone (even friends, relatives, husbands and wives with each other) to ask for permission before touching anyone else or their belongings and when asking to seek listen and empower ‘No’. What do you mean you practice Non-violence? We specifically expect everyone to be calm, kind and respectful with all car interactions. One riders aggression to a car driver can put everyone else at risk. We live in a small city and are bound to encounter the same drivers again. Are all your rides a protest? Yes, being together with respect and acceptance and finding comfort and joy around others and strangers is an act of protest against the divisive paradigm we are in.

Ride length: 0-3 miles

Wed, Aug 5, 2026, 7:30 PM
Meet at 7:30, Ride at 8
10:30 PM
End location: Brooklyn Park, SE 10th Avenue, Portland, OR
Ride length: 8-15 miles
In 1981, four Brooklyn teenagers started a hardcore punk band called the Young Aborigines. They played their first show on bassist Adam Yauch's 17th birthday. A few years and a lineup change later, they'd reinvented themselves as a hip-hop trio — Mike D, Ad-Rock, and MCA — and dropped Licensed to Ill on Def Jam in 1986. It was the first rap album to top the Billboard 200. Over the next 25 years, the Beastie Boys made eight studio albums, founded their own label, opened for Madonna, organized Tibetan freedom concerts, directed their own videos under fake Swiss filmmaker pseudonyms, and earned a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. MCA died of cancer in May 2012. The band disbanded the same day. By then they'd sold 40 million records. Today would have been Adam Yauch's 62nd birthday. We're celebrating him — and the band that wouldn't have existed without him — with a ride from the start location all the way to Brooklyn Park, soundtracked by 3-3.5 hours of Beastie Boys deep cuts, hits, and everything in between. From the bratty 1986 debut to the genre-warping middle period to the late-career instrumental detours, we'll touch every era. No sleep till Brooklyn (Park). q The BIKESxBEATS sound trailer will be in tow with all the bass you can handle. Costumes and props strongly encouraged — orange Sabotage jumpsuits, fake mustaches, vintage Adidas, NY Yankees gear, lederhosen if you're feeling Nathanial Hörnblowér. Whatever says "Beastie Boys." We'll roll at a social pace with regroups so nobody gets dropped, plus a store stop midway for snacks and water. Bring lights — we'll be out past sundown. One thing to flag: if you flat or have a mechanical, we won't be able to hold the ride for repairs, so come with a plan to get yourself home if something goes sideways.

Casual ride to art galleries for the First Friday Art Walk. First Friday Art Walk is a monthly tradition where inner SE art galleries stay open late, bring in artists, have free food, and have hands-on arts projects. http://firstfridaypdx.org/ Biking is the best way to get around to these galleries. We get to 5-8 galleries, depending on how long our group spends in each gallery. We don't know exact routes and galleries, because we decide in the moment. We'll stay out until ~9:30pm, then see if folks are up for a group dinner afterwards. Join for as many galleries as you like, and leave when you wish. If you have a sound system bring it! I love music on group rides. Ride details: 5-15 minutes of biking between galleries. Our ride is perfect for new cyclists and families with kids. We'll go at a slow pace so folks can socialize, and everyone can keep up. We use small neighborhood streets with minimal cars. The ride ends at a different location from the start. If you need help biking home afterwards or getting to your car, chat with the ride leader.

And when you seen the cones along the route, call em out! It's as silly--and as fun--as it sounds like, and we can't wait to run this ride for the third year.

Meet 7ish.

Ride length: 15+ miles
Ready for some gravel? Crown Zellerbach Trail is a gem and we are here to utilize it! This route will be about 104 miles and about 4k feet of elevation. Starting and ending in Portland. We will also utilize the Banks Vernonia Trail to head back so two fun trails for the price of one fun ride. The route is roughly 80% paved and 20% unpaved. Rolling up Crown Zellerbach there is some chunk so we recommend nothing narrower than 35-38mm tires. Food stops in Scappoose and Vernonia. We are a faster paced and more adventurous group ride with a no-drop mentality. Please bring water, snacks, flat repair kit, and P.M.A. A helmet is also HEAVILY encouraged! There will be stops to rest if needed on this longer journey. Cowabunga!

WeBike events are for women, trans, and non-binary folks. This includes but is not limited to trans men, trans women, cis women, agender, gender queer, gender fluid, gender nonconforming, and Two Spirit people. Read more about WeBike at thestreettrust.org/webike Go bike camping with WeBike! This is a beginner-friendly, one-night trip. A sliding scale RSVP ($0-40) includes a campsite, meals and snacks, and a MAX ticket. Plus, we have some gear available to borrow. We’ve had many first-time bike campers attend these trips with WeBike over the years, and most agree that this trip makes bike camping far more accessible and approachable than they ever expected. Our route is an out-and-back with 22 miles covered each day. The route is mostly flat (with one hill at the end) and all paved (except a half mile of dirt at the campground). More details, like meeting place, route/campground specifics, meal info, and gear list, will be provided in an email to folks who RSVP. You can also contact us directly with questions. RSVP is required for this ride! Space is limited, so if you think you might want to come, RSVP soon. If you’re very interested but not yet 100% sure you can commit, you can still RSVP (just choose “undecided” when it prompts you to pick your sliding scale ticket cost).

Gather at 9:45, roll out around 10:15, and be at Gaston by Noon

Ride is a loop

Party at 10:00, and roll out at 11:00
End location: Brookwood library
Ride length: 0-3 miles
This ride will be a relatively short, casual paced ride for families looking to get out and spend some time with their kids using pedal power! The goal is to get more families into riding bicycles instead of driving everywhere, and showing families safe neighbourhood spots and paths in Washington County! The party will kick off at Central Park in Hillsboro at 10am, and the closest MAX stop is at Orenco, less than a mile south. We will depart at 11am and ride en masse to the Brookwood Library! The closest MAX at the end is going to be at Fairplex, about 1.5 miles south. The ride will be about 2 miles in a relatively flat neighbourhood, on quiet neighbourhood streets. All people and all wheels are welcome! Please be respectful of any children who come along, as the last thing we want to do is discourage them from cycling.

Ride length: 3-8 miles
Join a fun ride from Sellwood Park to Downtown Milwaukie's waterfront. It's a summertime Bike Bus! This ride is for kids and families as part of Kidical Mass PDX -- promoting cycling safety and rider/auto visibility, especially for children. We'll meet at the newly re-opened recreational offering from Sellwood Community House, called "The Shack" in the park near the pool and playground. We'll then head out on this free, family-friendly, kid-paced bike ride. The route will take us on the Springwater Trail through Sellwood to the Trolley Trail to head south past Waverley Country Club on a mostly downhill and dedicated pedestrian/bicycle multi-use path. We'll enjoy free Otter Pops and splash in the Willamette River waterfront at our turn-around spot in Milwaukie Bay Park before returning to Sellwood Park along the same route. Ride length: 5.4 miles (2.2 each way) It is a great ride for most young bike riders who can pedal their own bike without training wheels. Bring swimwear, sunscreen and water! We should be back around 1pm. We will ride at a slow pace for little pedalers and parents on cargo bikes. Kids should wear a helmet, be able to balance and pedal in a straight line, start and stop. Cargo bikes, tandems, trailers and tag-a-longs are great for kids who haven’t learned to pedal. Adult corkers are welcome to join as a traffic safety superheroes. We’ll ride together as a group, no matter the weather, because kids are traffic too! Route map: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55997385

Pedal a short easy tour of Portland's five levels of government and some of their meeting locations. Learn how Portland is governed and how to get involved with public meetings, advocacy campaigns, ballot initiatives, elections, or other ways to participate. Meet grassroots voting advocates and learn about how simple and fair voting methods differ from choose-only-one models like IRV/STV. STAR Voting is an innovative voting method for more representative elections. Instead of being limited to picking just one candidate, you can score as many candidates as you like, showing your preference order and your level of support for the options. STAR Voting empowers voters to express their views and opinions more accurately, ensures that voters are able to vote their conscience without wasting their vote, combats polarization, and does a better job at electing winners who actually represent the will of the people. Enjoy a casual group ride and chat with STAR Voting volunteers about why STAR is different from other voting methods, how elections can be tools for understanding majority opinion and consensus-building, and what lets STAR elections cut through the gotchas that keep us trapped in a two-party system.

High Rocks is the perfect spot for every type of swimmer- places to just dip in, rocks jutting out a few feet above the water perfect for a cannonball, or take the challenge and jump from 20+ feet above the water. There are lifeguards on duty so everyone is safe. This is a one-way ride as the end point is the park and people are welcome to stay as long as they like. Bring sun block and water! The Bike Bus to the Beaverton Night Market is a community group ride with a casual pace that starts at Highland Park Middle School and rides to La Raíz Park for anyone from the Vose Neighborhood to hop on. From there, we ride to Evelyn Schiffler Park for riders in the Central Beaverton area to join up. From there, we ride to the Beaverton Round for the Night Market festivities, hopefully before the usual rush. Here is the timetable: 4:00 Meet at Highland Park Middle School 4:15 Ride out to La Raíz 4:30 Depart La Raíz Park en route to Evelyn Schiffler Park 5:05 Depart Schiffler Park 5:30 Arrive at Beaverton Round for a fun event! The intended route is available here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55906980 As of now, I believe there will be a free Bike Valet at the Night Market, so your bike will be watched while you walk through the market. Times are approximate, and we have time for unforeseen stops. No rush! The route is appropriate for younger riders who are experienced on a bike and can ride unassisted for a few miles. Bikes with training wheels may not be appropriate for this Bike Bus. "The Beaverton Night Market exists to create a vibrant, intercultural, family-friendly space that is reminiscent of night markets internationally. The Market offers an opportunity for emerging and developing entrepreneurs to participate in a market experience as well as creating an event with multicultural food, crafts, performances, activities, and goods for families of all backgrounds in Beaverton to enjoy." -- https://www.beavertonoregon.gov/390/Beaverton-Night-Market

Do you like bicycles? Do you like tabletop fantasy roleplaying games? Do you like parks? Do you like beer? If you can say yes to at least one of these things, then Side Quest Ride Quest might be the ride for you! Come join us as we crawl through N and NE PDX and visit some of our town's most beautiful public parks and maybe a public house or two. If people are interested, we can have extended stops at parks to hang out and roll some dice maybe? Costumes welcome! Dress up as your own D&D player character or your favorite romantic interest or villain from the realms. Plan for about 7 miles, give or take. This will be a medium-chill-paced ride. We might get excited but we certainly don't want to leave any adventurers in the dust. The ride will not be a loop, but very nearly so. We plan to end the ride at Old Town Brewing on NE MLK for beers and pizza. For those who want to join, some of us will be going to nearby Curious Comedy Theater to watch the new D&D-themed improv comedy show, Side Quest! It's Swords, Its Sorcery, it's Intrigue. Oh my! Depending on how many people show up, we may need corkers, so volunteers are appreciated and loved! No fee for the ride, but if you want to buy beer/pizza/salad/etc, or if you want to purchase a ticket to the show, that is up to you and your pantheon.
