Mr.Friday

Rolling at 8
Yes it's happening! This is an ALL NIGHT ride! Spin into summer from sunset to sunrise for summer solstice. The shortest night of the year will roll into a new season and Solstice alignment (max N Hemisphere tilt to sun) occurs at 7.57am Wednesday the 21. Come prepared! Layers, lights, food, water, bug spray are clever. Check up on your ride before summer hits! At least one proper store stop and 24/7. Leave no trace. Pace is swift but with stops and regroups. Can't guarantee no drops because it's long format. Speak with the ride leader or ride neighbor if you feel like you need to leave the ride but are disoriented. My aim is to take everyone to at least one place they haven't been ;-) Route details: 55mi estimated distance and <3500' elevation gain. Slightly longer than last year (verdict was it was slightly too short, I had to add a stop). Keep in mind we have all night! There will be some trail riding/hiking/craziness as usual. I scouted on a fixed gear so it is doable if you are so inclined. Ideally you will be home, or well on your way by the official 7:57am time, unless folks opt to seek out breakfast. Please note: due to route selection, this year will not end at Sunrise. The last 10mi (after sunrise location) are very flat and will lead to transit (official end spot), or continue to ride back as a group to a central location. In any case, bring your legs! Look for long format day rides quarterly for all seasonal shifts. ->Fall Equinox->Winter Solstice->Spring Equinox-> Feel free to reach out with questions.

It's a chance to honor the strength and resilience that come from navigating the world with multiple identities. Are you white chocolate, caramel cream, brown sugar? This gathering is open to all mixed folx, whether you're heavier on the cream or the full coffee bean, your identity and experience is what is the most important. **This ride is open to all BIPoC folx, but centers the mixed experience.
