Different ride leaders each week, but you can expect the ride to be social paced (8ish mph), no-drop, safe and welcoming, store stop with safe clean bathroom access and the ride is always a loop. We practice consent and non-violence specially with car interactions, what one ride does affects how all rides get treated. The Mellow Mondays are a space for (new) ride leaders to try out ideas in a very supported environment. You’ll often see Mondays rides appearing again during the warmer riding season. We follow the shift code of conduct and expect everyone to be respectful of themselves and others around them. This is so we can actually relax and have fun and connect with each other in a softer space. This isn’t a sober ride but we ask for moderation to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We recommend Abraham Fixes bikes in N Williams and NomadCycles (e-bike specialist) for repairs/sales and parts. Our friends over at RideSafePDX host regular ride and we’ recommend those as a pleasant warm group to ride with.

Cycle Vancouver is a local group that brings together people in Clark County for rides, social events, and community involvement. Join us at our bi-weekly happy hour for good banter, food, drinks, and discussions on all things transportation. We meet at Tap Union Freehouse in downtown Vancouver every other Tuesday at 6:30. Come meet a new friend, riding buddy, or just kill the time and have a brew and food!

Bike Happy Hour is a place where everyone is welcomed and embraced by our community. Just show up and hang out. That's it! Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, riding every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic party-paced “rolling dive bar” of a ride for newcomers and regulars alike. Most rides will feature park and store stops, but come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. New leadership, same positive vibes. While you might expect some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct, and if you’re banned from any Shift rides, TNR isn’t for you. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. Riders should practice consent, accountability, respect, and de-escalation at all times. Community led ride - many folks now know the route and different folks can point the way each week! There are three meeting points: 1. SE Clinton St/41st Ave at 10 am (ride at 10:05) 2. SE Clinton St/26 Ave at 10:10 am (ride at 10:15) 3. Tilikum Bridge at (former) PDX Opera ~10:25 am; leaving from Tilikum location ~10:30 am 4. Arrive at PSU Market ~11 am Ride is on every Saturday the market is open (year round except weekend between Christmas and New Year). We will make every effort to note weather-related closures here promptly.

Cranksgiving is a scavenger hunt on bikes where all the money raised will go to Portland Street Medicine, which provides quality medical care for Portland 's homeless population. You can either sign up as a team or do it solo! There will be prizes for those who hit up the most scavenger hunt locations! We will give you a physical location map and digital map for your navigational aid. If you can't make it or ride, we are also collecting pledges for Portland Street Medicine, so reach out to me (908-642-6114) and I will send you the link to count it for this event! Sunday December 7th. Meet at 10:30, intro speech at 11, ride out 11:15, return by 2pm. E-Bikes are welcome, but scoring will be based on a curve depending on if you are on bike or e-bike!

We have loaner bikes and mallets available if you wanna try. Singlespeed freewheel, not fixed gear. New players wanted! Gender inclusive. We’ll teach you the basics and get you in a newbie-friendly game. Bike polo originated in Seattle 1999 and came to Portland soon after. Its a Ride after the Westside Bike Happy Hour! Meet at the BGs Food Cartel Western Bike Rack (near the SW Rose Biggi Ave entrance) Come for HH 4:30-7. Find your bike at 7, we'll ride by 7:10! We ride bikes in Southeast Portland. We start at Foster food carts, if you can support the food carts and bar before we head out on the bike ride we meet up at 7:00 and We ride out at 8pm. We have guests ride leaders often. Please come prepared. Bring your lights maybe a spare tube patch kit tools to do such. Don't litter they are homeless not your can butler's. Be kind to all travelers, everybody's got places to go things to do, and everybody wants to make it home in the end.
