"America only has three cities: New York, Portland by bike, and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland." Tennessee Williams if he had experienced a Pedalpalooza ride. Let's listen to brass bands, traditional jazz, funk, Mardi Gras Indian, and Bounce music while riding bikes through NE Portland to Honk!, a brass band street festival with two stages just off NE Alberta. This event is kid-friendly. Prior to leaving I'll pour interested adults their choice of a French 75 or Vieux Carre cocktail. Please bring your own glass to reduce waste. We'll leave the park and head to Honk!, which features 11 PNW brass bands. It's a good time, there's a watermelon eating/smashing contest of sorts. Itinerary: Gather at Irving City Park at 12:00 for a 12:30 departure **Update** We're heading straight to Honk! from the park, no snowball pitstop.
