This is a two-part bike tour of North Portland, exploring historical landmarks of the radical labor movement and Black liberation struggle. The first part will be 13 miles and of moderate difficulty, meeting at Kenton Park at 10 AM, and embarking at 10:20 AM. After about a 2-hour ride, we will have a discussion and cookout at Peninsula Park. Around 1:20 PM we will head out on the second leg of the tour, which will be 5 miles and easy difficulty. Join us for one or both legs of the tour to learn about the radical history of Portland! All are welcome to the family-friendly cookout in Peninsula Park as well. -
