Celebrate pride with WeBike! This friendly, stay-together ride will visit queer-friendly businesses and community centers in NE Portland, ending with a picnic at Irving Park! Where: Irving Park, by the splash pads When: Meet at 11 a.m., ride at 11:30 a.m. The route: 4-mile loop in NE Portland, with stops at The Athletic Community, The Q Center, and Always Here Bookstore Join WeBike for a sweet and fun ride to celebrate Pride. We'll be pumping our Pride Playlist and spreading joy across NE Portland. Wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable and happy! We'll have cold drinks and snacks to share at a picnic at Irving Park after the ride (if you feel inspired to bring a potluck dish, we will gladly partake in that, too, but by no means is that a requirement!). The route will be a slow, stay-together, mostly-flat 4-mile loop beginning and ending at Irving Park. We'll stick to neighborhood greenways when possible. WeBike events center women, trans, femme, and nonbinary folks, and this ride is open to allies, too! If you have a friend, partner, or biking buddy who maybe doesn't identify as WTFNB+, they are welcome at this ride! If the ride is big enough, we may ask allies to jump in and cork at intersections for us.
