Join us for a adventure through Northeast Portland as we track down the city’s most bizarre and beautiful trees—Monkey Puzzles (Araucaria araucana)! We’ll roll out from Grant Park (near the tennis courts) and cruise mellow neighborhood streets toward Laurelhurst, winding through leafy blocks where these prehistoric-looking giants pop up in the most unexpected places. Keep your eyes on the skyline—you never know when you’ll spot one! Expect: 🌿 Chill pace, all skill levels welcome 🌿 5–8 miles of easy riding, a little up hill at times 🌿 Weird trees, good vibes, and curious company 🌿 Plenty of stops for gawking and photos Ending at Heartbeat Silent Disco at Laurelhurst Park, sliding scale for headphone rentals. Bring water, snacks, and your sense of wonder!
