RAPHA CONTINENTAL BICYCLE SHOW Link FF
6:00pm - 9:00pm
The Rapha Continental began in the US in 2007 as an antidote to the clinical aspects of road racing.  It was conceived as a more creative expression of road riding, with the belief that you don’t need to pin a race number on to experience the pleasure that comes from tough rides. In documenting their experiences the riders of the Continental created an inspiring online journal of films, photography, ride maps and cue sheets. The full crew of North American riders will be in house, along with their handmade steel bicycles, photos and journals, to tell tales of discovery. Free to the public.

Portland is famous for its architectural heritage: flamboyant Victorian iron front buildings, gleaming terra cotta towers, and stately classical edifices. But Portland is also home to an unheralded and unique collection of "Mussolini Modern" buildings... inspired by the early 20th century classical-moderne style that was the hallmark of Italy's Fascist years between the world wars. This tour, led by architect Rick Potestio will visit the best of these monuments.

PARKS 2 PARKS EPIC NITE RIDE Link
7:30pm
Mellow ride from park to park all night long. Discover under-appreciated parks with plenty of play time at each- different parks every year. In past years we've had 30 people in one tree, a team of pandas playing frisbee, a cuddle party in a miniature park, saxophone along the bluffs, skinny-dipping in a heated pool, among other adventures.

This ride is not a loop, and it will go late. BYOB, hula hoops, blankets, and park gear. It's a slow-ass pace but often of epic length for those who stay til the end.

Bring a helmet, repair kit, pump, spare tube, bike map, somewhere for a cue sheet, and a pencil to fill out your info card. No ride leader or SAG wagon but most of the area is served by Trimet.

Back for its 4th year, Get Lost! is a ride led entirely by chance.  Dice are rolled to determine how many blocks to ride, and which direction to turn once we get there (Odd total =R, Even =L).

You never know what to expect. Since we won't be taking designated bike routes riders should be pretty comfortable in semi-hairy conditions, but dangerous or illegal routes will not be traveled.

During the height of the Great Depression, the Works Progress Administration (WPA) provided economic relief to millions of idle artists by employing them in the creation of public works projects. Although highly controversial in its time for its leftist political leanings, the WPA is cited as a major factor for the re-stabilization of the American economy leading up to WWII. Join Know Your City, as we take a leisurely bicycle field trip/ tour of WPA-sponsored projects in Portland and hear from leading authorities on the subject. $10/ members $20/ general.

2:00pm - 5:00pm
Over the past 150 years people have had lots of ideas for Portland. Some of them got built. Some of them didn't. Come take a tour of the latter.
We'll visit a fake pioneer village, a motorcross course, a mega-block-city-hall, parks, riverfront marshes, freeways (one-way, underground and capped) and a stadium that all don't exist. Are we better off for it? You be the judge.
This will be an easy-paced ride with many stops.
It'll take about 3 hours, with a stop for water and a bathroom if it seems like we need it. Informative handout will be handed out.

I JUST WANNA FUCKING RIDE RIDE Link
Delta Park MAX Station, N. Denver and N. Whitaker Take Trimet (If its raining, wait under cover at the MAX Station or under the I-5 overpass)
8:15pm, Roll 8:30-ish
Ride with Diablo sans music or costumes on a route he wanted to use for this years Pedalpalooza but wasn't able to make it happen.

After last night's disappointment of the Heavy Metal/Critical Black Mass fiasco and other rides tonight moving or canceling I  decided to make up my own for tonight so I can to try to get at least one in for each day of Pedalpalooza!

Wanna Ride with me?

Not gonna roll at a balls out pace, more semi-leisurely to enjoy the view with a pit stop along the way maybe who knows . . .

This is rain or shine ride
And again the only music I will have is on my headphones
