Welcome to Mellow Mondays 2026. Are you interested in leading a ride? This is a supportive and organized way to lead for the first time. Every week there’s different themes but there are constants…. Slow pace, about 8 mph, Distance varies but approx 10 miles, Family friendly, We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides, Store stop for safe clean bathroom access but generally we try and make these stops short, Skater friendly (but please check with ride leader about crunchy or potential issues for skates), ALL Wheels friendly (scooter, skates, skateboard, e bikes etc), Ride is always a loop, Corking and traffic intersections are calm. Be mindful of smoking around others and do not smoke around children. FAQ, Can I bring a speaker? Yes but please speak to the ride leader and play the music they’ve carefully selected or what their preference is. Can I lead a ride? Yes, please attend a few first and get a feel for how the rides are. I’ve heard NakedHearts supports other rides? Yes, we can help with planning, encouragement, promotion, sound support and what not. What do you mean you practice consent? We ask everyone (even friends, relatives, husbands and wives with each other) to ask for permission before touching anyone else or their belongings and when asking to seek listen and empower ‘No’. What do you mean you practice Non-violence? We specifically expect everyone to be calm, kind and respectful with all car interactions. One riders aggression to a car driver can put everyone else at risk. We live in a small city and are bound to encounter the same drivers again. Are all your rides a protest? Yes, being together with respect and acceptance and finding comfort and joy around others and strangers is an act of protest against the divisive paradigm we are in.

Hey Folks! Join me for a very special (to me) route that will include some of the places that helped me heal from trauma, cancer, and addiction. We'll visit Dharma Rain Zen Center, True Colors, and the Recovery Gym. So many folks think AA is just it for what we can do to heal and find community and there's just so much more! I'll briefly share about some free and welcoming spaces around town but I'll keep it short and the music upbeat and easy to listen and jam to. I very much consider MM to be a moving third space that contributed to me in so many ways over the years. Im honored to lead this week and can't wait to see your beautiful faces.

Art and silliness and chaos portraits! Camp counselor will have some basic art supplies to share. We will end somewhere with food and drink, close to the starting point. Usually it's been the zipper. We meet up every other Tuesday. We ride in the Southeast Portland we have food carts and a beer tent at the start of the ride. And we go somewhere and generally have a fire. Weather permitted** Find us by going to the Esplanade path near OMSI and heading just a bit north to the big red shed with Biketown parking in front. Gather at 6, ride at 6:30! Nomad's monthly ride is evolving. What started as an e-bike ride is becoming an all-bikes-welcome community ride, starting from our new waterfront Adaptive BIKETOWN location. E-bikes are still very much welcome, but this ride is about accessible, joyful, low-pressure cycling for everybody: e-bikes, adaptive bikes, trikes, handcycles, cargo bikes, analog bikes, EUCs, OneWheels, Skateboards, skates, and anyone who wants to ride at a pace that allows for chatting with fellow cyclists and taking in the beauty of Portland. We ride at a social pace, we stay together, and nobody gets lett behind. I his isn't a race, a training ride, or a contest of fitness. These rides are about building the kind of bike culture we want to see more of: welcoming, accessible, practical, joyful, and connected. Whether you ride every day or haven't joined a group ride before, you are welcome here! All Wheels Welcome rides will be loops that start and end at the Adaptive Biketown Location just north of OMSI along the Eastbank Esplande path - look for the big red shed with Biketown parking in front. The ride will be a relaxed pace with minimal elevation but when we do encounter slight inclines, we will slow down enough to stay together as a group. We'll pass by interesting sights and maybe make a stop or two to take in the sights!

Ride through the Orenco neighborhood to Orenco Elementary Back to School Open House! Feel free to meet the ride anywhere along the route. Total route length ~1.5mi, minimal elevation change. Orenco Presbyterian Church is hosting the start location, riders are welcome to park in the church lot. The ride will return to the church lot after giving time for students and parents to engage with the school activities, listen for announcements at the start of the ride for details on the return if you are interested. Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, rolling out from Salmon Street Springs every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic, party-paced social ride with warmth and weirdness from our welcoming “rolling dive bar” regulars. Most rides feature regularly spaced park and store stops, generally leading to a lively end spot around 11 PM. Come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. Strong Thursday traditions, stronger shared expectations. While you might see some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct. If you’ve been asked not to attend *any* Shift rides, you are not welcome at TNR—that’s not up for debate on our ride. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. TNR works best when everyone helps set the tone and shares responsibility. Thursday nights. Hard start at 8:05 PM. It's almost the weekend, so let's ride bikes. We roll from and return to Columbia Park (meet in front of the pool) for an hour-ish ramble through North Portland and beyond. No agenda beyond riding bikes with good people. Expect roughly 10 miles at a conversation-friendly pace (~10 mph). We usually have a brief rest stop along the way for snacks, stretching, high fives, admiring a weird tree, taking in a panoramic view, or whatever else seems important at the time. This is a no-drop ride. Basket bikes, ATBs, all-road bikes, cruisers, "gravel" bikes, fancy bikes, old bikes, rusty bikes, whatever. If your bike can comfortably cruise at ~10 mph for an hour, it’ll be fine. Bring:

Camping and zoobomb fun up on Mt Hood. We will meet up Friday afternoon/evening and get camp setup, maybe cook some hot dogs?! We will bomb Mt Hood on Saturday until we’re tired. Friday night ride is a social ride for people who enjoy a sporty pace and adventurous routes. Every ride is different but generally range between 15 and 25 miles and you can expect some climbing and higher speeds than your average pedalpalooza ride. NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE. Riders should be self sufficient and have a plan for getting themselves home. This is a bicycle-forward group ride. Pedal-assist ebikes are ok (class 1 & 2). Throttle heavy, high speed battery powered motor bikes are not (class 3 & 4). If you're not pedaling it’s not a bicycle and you will asked to leave. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Community led ride - many folks now know the route and different folks can point the way each week! There are three meeting points: 1. SE Clinton St/41st Ave at 10 am (ride at 10:05) 2. SE Clinton St/26 Ave at 10:10 am (ride at 10:15) 3. Tilikum Bridge at (former) PDX Opera ~10:25 am; leaving from Tilikum location ~10:30 am 4. Arrive at PSU Market ~11 am Ride is on every Saturday the market is open (year round except weekend between Christmas and New Year). We will make every effort to note weather-related closures here promptly.

We have a 34 mile route that takes you into the heart of suburbia! With the option of using public transit and taking the MAX to Beaverton Transit Center that is where our ride will begin and end. We will have a lunch stop once we arrive in Sherwood. We like to zip around the area but we are focused on showing off the scenery and socializing. So it will be fast but only on straight flat stuff and we will wait for you. Roughly 1,400+ of climbing and most of that is in the first 5 or so miles of the ride. Roll out roughly 4:30 PM ​Join us for a ride to ground yourself back to mother earth and connect with the shared air we breathe. ​Along the way, we’ll take part in a short "Wind Salutation"—a unique four-directions ceremony designed to center the group. It will be a small, low-pressure element of the ride, but likely a bit different than any you’ve experienced before. (Pro-tip: Leave the compass at home!) ​The Route & Stops: We will pause at three distinct locations along the route. One of our stops will be high above the river on the Tilikum Crossing—taking advantage of its zero-automobile traffic and open air space—while the other two stops will remain a secret until we roll up. ​Ride Vibe & Etiquette: ​Acoustic Focus: Please do not troll the ride with electric motorcycles or blast high-decibel EDM. Calling all Holga users and photographers who appreciate the joy of lo-fi toy cameras! Join us for a lovely cruise around Portland. This approx. 9 mile ride will give us plenty of opportunities to break out our light-tight boxes and capture dreamy images of various photogenic locations. We will meet at Peninsula Park at 2 PM to capture the Rose Garden’s glory. We depart at 2:30 for a southbound ride ultimately ending near the Tilikum Crossing. This ride will have a mellow pace with plenty of stops, no one left behind. The focus of this ride is on toy cameras like Holgas and Dianas. You can bring other cameras if you’d like, but using lo-fi cameras is encouraged. Don’t have a lo-fi camera? There will be a handful to check out and use along w/film for purchase, courtesy of Blue Moon Camera. Get to Peninsula Park early if you want to use one, as the supply is limited. And there will be an opportunity for post-ride food and libations for those who want to stick around.

The movie "A Simple Machine" was filmed entirely in the Portland area and is having a showing at Cinema 21. An earlier showing at the Hollywood Theatre sold out quickly, so get your tickets soon! This 4.5-mile group ride goes by some of the filming locations in the movie before arriving at Cinema 21 for the showing. The movie's director Mark Alan Hoffman will be with us, and he will explain the locations and take questions at each stop on the ride. This will be a "party pace" ride at about 8 MPH to accommodate everyone. And everyone is welcome on the ride even if you do not have a ticket for this showing. Starring Richard Blackmon in a breakout lead role, "A Simple Machine" follows Nick Allander as he tries to figure out his life’s direction during the late stages of the pandemic. A recent college grad, he makes a series of radically frugal lifestyle choices and goes off-grid to get out of debt. He’s unable to let his girlfriend-practically-fiancée in on his plans, forcing a difficult choice between a simple life on his bike or committing to the woman he loves.

Commute with the City Bike Bus on the fourth Wednesday of the month! Hop on your bicycle and join us on one of eight unique bike bus routes coming from all over the city into downtown. All bike bus ride leaders will have a pink vest and a bright lime green bandana tied to their handle bars for easy identification. At the end of the ride, we’ll all gather at Salmon Street Springs for a group photo at 8:15 a.m. and enjoy coffee, treats, and music! Queer led, open to everyone! Dirty roads, groovy company, and a pace built for everyone to finish together Join us for our inaugural Wednesday evening ride. Expect to end the ride no later than 7:30 pm. We'll climb Thurman , ride Leif through Forest Park, descend at Springville, then take Willamette Blvd to Ainsworth before ending at Peninsula Park's rose garden. *This ride includes about 1000 feet of climbing, and a steep descent down Springville (20% grade at points). Bring lights* We ride every Wednesday, regardless of weather.
