Cover Songs! David K. (California Ride) and Moorland will lead you on a casual ride around Portland. We'll be playing cover versions of popular songs. Think Tom Petty, Beyoncé, Johnny Cash, Soundgarden, Prince and Dolly Parton, with them both covering songs and covers of their songs. Only one song per artist and no covers of the same song, but this does have several covers of Beatles songs by different artists. What makes a good cover song? 1) It has to be good on it's own. 2) The song covered is popular enough to be recognized 3) The cover song has to sound different than the original. - Mellow Mondays. This loosely organized weekly ride aims to create a routine time for some lighthearted training with friends. Everyone is encouraged to climb Tabor at least once, and spend the hour riding however feels best to them. We’ll plan to regroup at the starting point at 7:30 so that we may enjoy celebratory snacks and beverages as a group somewhere near by. Whether you’re looking to crush your PR or just enjoy the park with friends, all are welcome. All bikes, skill levels, and body’s are celebrated here. Cycle Vancouver is a local group that brings together people in Clark County for rides, social events, and community involvement. Bike Happy Hour

Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, riding every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic party-paced “rolling dive bar” of a ride for newcomers and regulars alike. Most rides will feature park and store stops, but come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. New leadership, same positive vibes. While you might expect some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct, and if you’re banned from any Shift rides, TNR isn’t for you. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. Riders should practice consent, accountability, respect, and de-escalation at all times. Find your bike Every Friday Night. We meet at Ladds circle, in the circle. If it is raining, head down to the covered area of Abernethy Elementary School. Ride slowly meets at 7 pm and departs roughly at 7:45/8ish pm. An honorary 3 minutes of Ladd laps (Ding Ding Ride/Ladd500) and then we send it. Sometimes we have guest ride leaders. Friday Night Rides are different every time. Sometimes we go to other rides happening around town during the summer. End of ride fires/good vibes/respect/no jerks/ We are a community. Respect each other! No aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Violations against the code of conduct will be reported to shift2bikes. If you ride Sur-Ron/powerful electric bikes this is not the ride for you. You can come but you might be heckled. This is a bicycle ride. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Join us for a Saturday morning cruise on greenways, alleyways, boulevards, and bike lanes through North and Northeast Portland. We'll start at Peninsula Park and loop the neighborhood. Learn about some secret corners, meet new friends, and enjoy the fresh air. We'll end somewhere we can sit and chat, so bring a lock and your wallet if you want to stay. 7-10 miles at a family-friendly pace. He'll join us for feedback and thoughts on proposed changes to Ainsworth as part of North Portland in Motion (NoPIM): a set of projects focused on enhancing safety and accessibility for biking/walking/transit throughout North Portland. Established in 2017, we ride once a month to enjoy what this city has to offer. Each month is led by a different CORVIDAE member, and therefore will be unique. We occasionally have themes or additional donations to different organizations. Additionally, host pop-up rides during the summer. ​We try to focus our rides on greenways, group etiquette, safety measures and general comradery. In addition to bike safety and accessibility, we want to promote using bicycles as an alternative to fossil fueled travel within Portland. This is a no-drop ride, but please bring your repair kit with a spare tube so we can keep the ride rolling. Please bring your own provisions; we’ll be stopping near stores, but not at them. Each member has an eye out for the crowd, will cork, sweep and be a general pillar of support. Ride pace is casual at around 10 miles with a few park stops. Every Tuesday evening, meet up at 6:30 at Salmon Street Springs and ride up at 7pm for about 8-12 miles and end up at a local Taco Shop.

We ride bikes in Southeast Portland. We start at Foster food carts, if you can support the food carts and bar before we head out on the bike ride we meet up at 7:00 and We ride out at 8pm. We have guests ride leaders often. Please come prepared. Bring your lights maybe a spare tube patch kit tools to do such. Don't litter they are homeless not your can butler's. Be kind to all travelers, everybody's got places to go things to do, and everybody wants to make it home in the end.

Bike Happy Hour

Come join the fastest and most adventurous group ride with a no drop mentality! We meet bi-weekly at the Beaverton Transit Center, use the MAX or busses to get to and from the ride, at 7:30pm and roll promptly at 8:00pm. We make our way through the area and return around 10:00pm to Beaverton Transit Center.
