Everyone welcome! Every 2nd and 4th Monday, 4:30 to 7 p.m. We are usually on the bar patio or the near it on the ground level.

Welcome to Mellow Mondays 2026. Are you interested in leading a ride? This is a supportive and organized way to lead for the first time. Every week there’s different themes but there are constants…. Slow pace, about 8 mph, Distance varies but approx 10 miles, Family friendly, We practice consent and non-violence on all our rides, Store stop for safe clean bathroom access but generally we try and make these stops short, Skater friendly (but please check with ride leader about crunchy or potential issues for skates), ALL Wheels friendly (scooter, skates, skateboard, e bikes etc), Ride is always a loop, Corking and traffic intersections are calm. Be mindful of smoking around others and do not smoke around children. FAQ, Can I bring a speaker? Yes but please speak to the ride leader and play the music they’ve carefully selected or what their preference is. Can I lead a ride? Yes, please attend a few first and get a feel for how the rides are. I’ve heard NakedHearts supports other rides? Yes, we can help with planning, encouragement, promotion, sound support and what not. What do you mean you practice consent? We ask everyone (even friends, relatives, husbands and wives with each other) to ask for permission before touching anyone else or their belongings and when asking to seek listen and empower ‘No’. What do you mean you practice Non-violence? We specifically expect everyone to be calm, kind and respectful with all car interactions. One riders aggression to a car driver can put everyone else at risk. We live in a small city and are bound to encounter the same drivers again. Are all your rides a protest? Yes, being together with respect and acceptance and finding comfort and joy around others and strangers is an act of protest against the divisive paradigm we are in.

Bike Happy Hour is a place where everyone is welcomed and embraced by our community. Just show up and hang out. That's it! Follow @bikeportland on socials for updates and info about special themed nights or special guest appearances. All ages are welcome. We often have little kiddos running around. We've got coloring books and crayons, and feel free to bring your own activities: puzzles, crafts, games, or whatever. $5 Migration Pints! - Great Food Menu from Papas Frita. 3:00 pm - Quiet(er) hours. Bike Happy Hour

Thursday Night Ride is Portland’s longest-running weekly social ride, riding every Thursday night since 2015! Routes and ride leaders change weekly, but expect an energetic party-paced “rolling dive bar” of a ride for newcomers and regulars alike. Most rides will feature park and store stops, but come prepared to have fun and celebrate cycling together—other wheeled guests should respect the pace and space of cyclists. New leadership, same positive vibes. While you might expect some wheelies and other chaos, riders are expected to follow Shift’s Code of Conduct, and if you’re banned from any Shift rides, TNR isn’t for you. No complaints, just accountability—if your behavior makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please leave the ride before the ride leaves you. Riders should practice consent, accountability, respect, and de-escalation at all times. Find your bike Every Friday Night. We meet at Ladds circle, in the circle. If it is raining, head down to the covered area of Abernethy Elementary School. Ride slowly meets at 7 pm and departs roughly at 7:45/8ish pm. An honorary 3 minutes of Ladd laps (Ding Ding Ride/Ladd500) and then we send it. Sometimes we have guest ride leaders. Friday Night Rides are different every time. Sometimes we go to other rides happening around town during the summer. End of ride fires/good vibes/respect/no jerks/ We are a community. Respect each other! No aggressive, sexist, racist, or any other kind of BS will be tolerated. Violations against the code of conduct will be reported to shift2bikes. If you ride Sur-Ron/powerful electric bikes this is not the ride for you. You can come but you might be heckled. This is a bicycle ride. Bring lights/locks/responsible vibes/a cup/ Casual pace with some extra zip 10-20ish mile rides with store stops/park stops/art stops NOT NECESSARILY A NO DROP RIDE… ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL/WINTER/SPRING. Be careful of slippery roads/leafs on ground/pot holes. Call out road hazards to help bike friends stay safe. 1st Friday is bottle share night. (bottle of wine/crazy beer/kombucha/coconut water/fizzy waters/anything you like to drink/want to share) 2nd Fridays are MMR - later night vibes to make it to Midnight Mystery Ride. Community led ride - many folks now know the route and different folks can point the way each week! There are three meeting points: 1. SE Clinton St/41st Ave at 10 am (ride at 10:05) 2. SE Clinton St/26 Ave at 10:10 am (ride at 10:15) 3. Tilikum Bridge at (former) PDX Opera ~10:25 am; leaving from Tilikum location ~10:30 am 4. Arrive at PSU Market ~11 am Ride is on every Saturday the market is open (year round except weekend between Christmas and New Year). We will make every effort to note weather-related closures here promptly.

Let's take food to some free fridges and pantries around inner-SE on our bikes! Cargo bikes and bike trailers especially welcome!! This ride will happen RAIN or SHINE! (may need to cancel if roads are icy or snowy) Meet us at Abernethy Elementary School, under the covered area. We will visit a variety of free fridges and pantries, so feel free to bring packaged nonperishable staples, as well as prepared meals (with ingredients and dates labeled,) or even fresh veggies! Grab-n-go items are helpful for folks without kitchen access! Personal hygiene products/socks/handwarmers/etc. also appreciated. Join All Bodies on Bikes for a ramble up to Forest Park. We'll do a 15 mile out and back ride, with about 1000 feet of climbing. Meet at Dragonfly Coffee at 10, wheels down at 10:30am. Please bring a bike capable of riding light gravel and pavement, helmet, layers, snacks for yourself, and hydration. Expect to be on the bike for 2-3 hours. This is a no-drop ride. What can you expect? Relaxing ethereal music that feels empowering and calming ……Music that softens the stress and angst of life and lights warmth in the attitudes of love and self care and the care of others. Also, we’re going to rock out to some Tina Turner and get our feet moving. I found this music when a freind of mine recommended Dechen-Shak-Dagsay as music to listen too while in an Airport. It transformed the experience for me. Then I discovered the work she’s been doing with Tina Turner. It blew my mind….. If you’ve been on any rides I’ve lead, chances are you’ve heard this music at some time. This will be a serene adventure….

We ride bikes in Southeast Portland. We start at Foster food carts, if you can support the food carts and bar before we head out on the bike ride we meet up at 7:00 and We ride out at 8pm. We have guests ride leaders often. Please come prepared. Bring your lights maybe a spare tube patch kit tools to do such. Don't litter they are homeless not your can butler's. Be kind to all travelers, everybody's got places to go things to do, and everybody wants to make it home in the end.

Bike Happy Hour

Join Nomad Cycles and the e-bike community on our monthly East side e-bike ride! Come with a full battery to ride with the ease only an electric bike can offer. This month's ride will be ending at the the White Owl Social Club to join Tabor Dance Party. We start gathering at 6 at the outdoor seating of Paqui, which is on NE 59th around the corner from Nomad. We'll hit the road at 6:30, meandering around interesting city terrain, with an opportunity or two to climb hills effortlessly and potentially open that throttle if you so desire. This is a consistent monthly ride held on every third Wednesday of the month. Frequently Woman led and all are welcome, this is an inclusive ride that is treated as a safe space.
